lol this comment got this from the poundland blog :

I think its absolutely brilliant that Poundland sell these batteries it is a godsend to all parents needing so many batteries for the kids toys as everything needs batteries these days and Kodak batteries last a lot longer than others. Smart people shop at Poundland and others who dont surely miss out.

They are not that bad when you consider the price you pay for them!!

Good value for clocks, remotes & some toys

they last 2 weeks at a push absolute bunch of crap, vouch for the sony ones being rubbish too don't bother!

I bought some of these too, for my wireless notebook mouse. Usually I get 2-3 months from a decent battery, whereas these last 2-4 weeks. That said, the amount for £1 works out better value than the decent ones, but it's an inconvenience to change them all the time!

These batteries aren't alkaline and therefore aren't that great for toys and I've found that they leak at the end of their cycle. Poundland also sell Kodak Max batteries in a six pack which are alkaline and better for toys.

This is not a deal

Been this price for ages. The batteries are also Zinc and therefore not great quality

A godsend for parents would be the use of rechargeables, that would not contaminate and pollute the world that our children are going to occupy in years to come*. You could also save more money if you use them too.

*Whilst batteries can be recycled, most are still thrown into landfill and contain harmful constituents.

These batteries also seem rather poor, not comparing well to other brands, though cheap per battery.

Where did the harmful constituents come from originally?
