Why does everyone go mad if batteries are not alkaline? Do none of these people have remote controls or kids who have toys needing batteries. Hot from me for the price, if I wanted alkaline I'd look elsewhere but for low drain applications like remotes these are ideal.

Actually - we use these batteries all the time and they are fine. So cheap? Yes. Rubbish? Not at all. Totally fine for the various lads toys that require AA batteries. Heat added and thanks for posting andy_696,

I got a load of these from ebuyer and they are absolutely rubbish. They won't power many electronic devices and are very prone to leaking. Don't waste your time let alone your money.

I had or did have a lovely quartz clock for 20 years, until i put one of these batteries in, and it leaked and f----d up the movement. they do leak. As such cheap or not i would never buy again. Good price though but if you are happy to take a risk with expensive remotes etc then they are for you.

Really rubbish batteries, don't even run heated eyelash curlers never mind a digital camera!

Agree in my experience they do tend to leak and you risk messing up something a lot more valuable for the sake of saving a few pence
