Sharing pictures has never been easier than with the Kodak Easyshare M575 Digital Camera. Kodak’s Share button lets you instantly tag pictures for uploading to YouTube, Facebook, Flickr and Kodak Gallery sites, or email them to friends and family.

A 5x optical zoom and 28 mm wide-angle Schneider-Kreuznach lens will allow you to capture dramatic landscapes or fit everyone in when taking group shots, or zoom in really close to capture fine details from far away. Meanwhile a detailed 14 megapixel lens allows you to blow up your photos into stunning large prints without loss of detail.

The Kodak Easyshare M575’s built in image stabilisation allows you to reduce blur caused by subject movement or fast-action situations, for clearer, sharper pictures. Kodak’s innovative Smart Capture feature automatically identifies the scene and adjusts camera settings for a great picture in just about any environment.

The M575 also features intelligent capture control, which automatically changes camera settings including exposure, focus and ISO for clear, sharp pictures even in low light and challenging situations. Also, intelligent image processing reduces noise and clears up dark shadows for vibrant, crisp details and true-to-life colours.

As well as stunning HD pictures, the Easyshare M575 will let you capture HD quality video with sound and on-camera editing, while Kodak Theatre HD Player lets you enjoy your new pictures and videos on your HDTV instantly, straight from your camera’s memory card.

Thanks to Kodak’s face recognition feature, your camera will automatically recognise up to twenty pre-tagged faces so you can easily locate and share them later, including up to five faces in a single image.

A confusing description. It says it has image stabilization but no optical image stabilization. However other descriptions elsewhere suggest it has optical image stabilization. If it does then, with rechargeable battery and a 5x zoom, it's a decent price.

However the claim "Megapixels determine the resolution of an image and the more you have the higher the quality of the image." is of course rubbish and the 14mp is the weakest point of this camera.

Online reviews for these aren't bad, though they're originally priced at slightly over 100 quid on amazon (before price cuts). Heat added, and I shall spend about 30 minutes mulling over the decision to get one or not. :P

OK, not wonderful. Kodak cameras generally get ho-hum reviews. Quite a few decent little cameras come along at 60 quid but probably not with 5x optical zoom.

I have this As a pocket camera and its really good. Not bad at night but you have to do a bit faffing about with iso setting to get shots worth keeping.

What I was impressed with was the HD video. Really exceptional results and sound for a sub £79 compact.

Only downside is the battery has to charged in camera.

Good little unit.

BestBuy are a busted flush. Everyone knows that the cash back will track - but will eventually be declined. They do pay the odd one or two, just to keep the punters coming. CON ARTISTS!
