I'm no David Bailey, but seems a decent enough entry level camera for £65 all in . . . . Anyone got one or seen reviews?

Reviews i saw got 5's and 6's out of 10, but this was when it was £160 and being benchmarked against casio and sony models at £176 and £190 respectively

I assume that ebuyer have an agreement with Kodak to take all their refurbs? so if its returned products on a national basis the number isn't that scary. Also, some of these returns won't have been faulty in the first place, unwanted/unsuitable presents which have been opened will be sent back too . . .

does anyone know if this can video record with audio? And for how long, is there like a 1 minute limit, or you can record depending on ur memory card size?

does anybody know whats the External card limit in Gb's for this camera 2 or 4GB or even more, as it says it takes the SDHC card and i think it doesn't come below 4GB

Please note this is factory refurbished.

Grade A Goods are "Factory Reconditioned" to the Manufacturers original specification. All goods supplied are 30 day high street store (30 days) returned products. With grade A stock there is always a chance that there may be a minor cosmetic mark, Considering the price however these are considered to be very minor and will not affect performance of the product.

Come on guys and gals - this is a 12mega for sixty five quid, how bad can it be?

Think back a year and you couldn't get a 12mega unless you took out a 2nd mortgage to pay for it.

If you are David Bailey, then this is not going to cut the mustard for you but I'm guessing that most of us point and shoot and if that is the case then this must be a bargain - or have I had too much sun this weekend?? :-D:-D

I vote this little beast HOT

Thanks for the revelation, most people know that a "Grade A" product is a refurb or ex display etc., its also mentioned a few posts above. Even with that in mind its a good £25 - £30 cheaper than a new one with the same warranty if i'm not mistaken . . . . . .

Good point but remember people, megapixel levels have nothing to do with quality, although this seems to have very good quality indeed from the reviews and sample images.

Megapixels are just a measurement of size, if you're in the professional printing business you obviously need the images with the most megapixels you can get for high print quality but if you're just looking for a point and shoot then the simplicity and lens quality are what matters, not the number of megapixels.

If it takes the larger capacity SDHC card it will also take the lower capacity SD cards as well.

believe video is limited to 29m and eats up 1M a sec, but you can easily retake. some have commented on shaky HD video which isn't supprising given the size etc of camera, also writing noise to sd card in quite situations, they also say 9M is optimum setting and low light/ high iso recording is a bit iffy. Bearing in mind this is compared to camera's costing 2-3x more its not supprising. The HD is a fairly unique feature at this sort of price. I think you can say it does a lot of things reasonably well, but if your after top performance etc, you need to pay a lot more or compomise on a lot of features.

Voted cold, kodak's are naf camera's, and this is a prime example of a manufacturer throwing megapixels at camera's, and relying on the consumers ignorance regarding camera technology in order to garner sales. I'd never touch a kodak at any price as they have rubbish screens, are slow and unresponsive, and produce god-awful images from god-awful lenses. Cheap and cheerful, but very poor camera's.

Which Lumix scooter? Give some specific details.

I am in a market for a digital camera right now and thinking of getting FUJI f40fd (I know it's old but it has got great reviews).

Thanks. Robie.

these camera are on flea bay for £78 with 2gb memory..

is this a good deal?

or is it better to go for the one advertised?

thanks

Having tried this camera I'd say unless you really need the big zoom you would be better off with one of the Casio compacts which are available for around the same price (and not refurbished) and beat this hands down for picture quality.

These 2 below are both fantastic.

Ordered mine Monday, arrived Tuesday and that was super saver.

Camera is as new, not a mark on it.

For £64.98 I think I have found what I was looking for.
#34
Mine came today,

Looks like new, comes in a plain box bubblewrapped with a factory reconditioned sleeve.

USB cable
Plastic docking thing presumably to go onto docking station/printer.
Cd/Manual

NO mains adaptor

We just wanted another(one each) P&S to go with a 7m samsung that has done us well,

Takes AA/SD which we have loads of and the 5X room will come in handy.

Ordered Monday arrived today, it looks like new but has a small refurbished sticker on bottom of it which can easily be removed. I would recommend that people buy NiMH rechargeable batteries to go with this camera as the two supplied Kodak AA oxy-alkaline batteries wont last very long. I got about 10 pic's, 1min of HD video before mine went flat.
