Description:

Fed up with expensive printer ink?
When buying a printer it’s tempting just to look at the ticket price of the printer. But with expensive ink cartridges your total costs are not always clear and can come as a bit of a shock later on. Kodak All-in-One printers are different, they have the lowest total ink replacement costs in the industry.* Independent tests prove that you can save an average of £75 a year on your ink.** Don’t just take our word for it, all testing was done independently to ISO standards by QualityLogic, who have provided testing services for the printing industry for over 20 years. QualityLogic are a world-leading expert in printer testing and were integral in developing the international standard (ISO) for measuring print cartridge performance. So say goodbye to overpriced ink and enjoy Kodak’s low-cost, high quality pigment ink cartridges that give you all the bright colours and sharp text you’d expect for just a fraction of the price.

Print brilliant colour documents and Lab-Quality photos that last a lifetime.***
More than 100 years of Kodak image science research lies behind Kodak’s patented pigmented inks and advanced micro porous photo paper technology. This results in best-in-class image stability together with the brilliant colour and exceptional image quality Kodak is known for. According to Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR), a leading independent print permanence testing laboratory, Kodak All-in-One printers are ‘best in class’ achieving the highest level of overall print permanence of any current consumer desktop printer system. Other printer brands suggest you keep your photos under glass and out of the light to prevent fading but Kodak photos will last a lifetime,*** with no catches. As well as using pigmented inks which have inherent advantages over the dye-based inks found in most other brands of consumer inkjet printer, Kodak All-in-One printers use an additional clear protective gloss ink. The clear ink is applied in variable amounts depending on the amount of colour ink on each photo delivering a beautiful uniform gloss finish to the photo whilst also improving stain protection and smudge and scratch resistance. No other brand of consumer inkjet printer uses this technology.

Easy to use

Kodak All-in-One printers are designed to be easy to set up and use. The 1.5-inch colour screen provides a clear menu and allows you to view and edit photos. You can print and copy at the touch of a button without a PC and an intelligent paper sensor automatically adjusts the printer settings based on the paper type to deliver the possible print quality first time every time. And thanks to the pigment inks and micro porous papers photos dry instantly so they can be handled as soon as they come out of the printer avoiding any possibility of smudges or finger prints. Scanning is easy too, the high resolution optical scanner allows you to scan multiple images at once with the software automatically creating separate image files making it quick and easy to get great scans.

*As compared to leading consumer inkjet printers total ink load replacement costs using manufacturer's recommended ink cartridges; excludes printers that use only one cartridge. Based on independent third party cartridge pricing survey data obtained May 2009. IDC cartridge pricing survey data.
** Results based on average annual print volumes compared to leading consumer inkjet printers. Actual results may vary.
***Based on testing by Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) using KODAK inks and a full range of KODAK photo and document papers in all common consumer display and storage environments.

You want a printer that prints, scans is wifi etc right?

Well the epson is better because, 1. Better colours, 2. cheaper 3. cheaper inks 4. better software 5. better resolution scanner 6. faster print speed 7. nicer design 8. better control without a PC 9. Bigger LCD screen, 10. Built memory card reader etc etc

Yes it's a different printer but I would want someone that's looking at this that knows nothing about printers to buy this thinking it's a good deal because in the long term it's not !

Also read the reviews, the colours from Kodak printers are appauling, yet Epson perform well even with compatibles....

I have a firm grip thanks 8)

Gadget show don't factor in 50p ink carts... They only look at costs of genuine inks... So not a fair review..... See my grip is perfect
