I was never good at Math at school, nor was I any good at English. I am sure you get 48 batteries for what you paid... as it does state 12 free FOR every 12 that you buy..... :whistling:

Excuse the CAPS can't be bothered to reach for the mouse....

Not trying to be smart

Very good idea me thinks... best to stock up as I am sure many of my Xmas pressies will need batteries :)

Strange reason for a cold hit. Do you respond like that to all posts in respect of sellers who meet with the odd dissatisfaction review on some web-site?
I have ordered various stuff from Direfoto for many years without any problems worth mentioning.
I once met with the 'out of stock' problem where they hang on to an open order forever. A single phone call (which reached them without undue delay) and they refunded without a problem.
Let's face it, bargains like this will frequently run them out of stock and leave them in the hands of suppliers. Their after-sales advice emails could be more informative for sure but not a reason to miss a crazy low price like this!

These are on Poundland's website. Click here How much? (I hear you cry) Hmmm and only £1.00!

Am I missing something or is 12 AA or AAA for £1.00 not a much better deal? :?
#19
i just ordered heat added, thanks :)
#20
These are rubbish batteries with very poor life. I have tried these many times.
#21
Just ordered. Thanks H&R added.

I was only relaying my bad experience and obviously many others, if you are happy to risk your money, fine, I am not.

Nothing is a bargain, if you don't ever receive it.

Sorry, I thought the price was after the discount code had been applied, but don't forget if reserve and collect is used through quidco these batteries are then £6.79 which is still cheaper than this deal!

cheap as chips....:p

Oh no. :x

I read your post and clicked on the link 5 seconds after ordering 2 packs!

Damn now I have to wonder whether or not I will get them.:x

Has anyone ordered from this site before and received their order in full??

Clutching at straws here but on that review site there hasn't been a (bad) comment since 7th September 2008. Maybe they have cleaned up their act.

You can but hope, personally I would buy the ones from Argos, at least you are guaranteed to get them.

It would be except these Poundland batteries are NOT Kodak MAX ones - they're the cheapo ones that many people get mixed up over and send response posts that they're rubbish

The Kodak Max ones are excellent - don't be told otherwise.

Then either you're confusing these MAX versions with the cheaper ones that are fairly dreadful (such as sold on Poundland) , or you've lost the plot.

My own observations have shown them to be excellent - especially in motorised toys.
There was a comprehensive test of the various manufacturers a while ago - which I can't find apart from the summary was re-posted on another site here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=641565

Anyway - horses for courses - you need to go buy what suits you best.

I have ordered numerous times from this site - for batteries, printer carts and memory. No real hassle at all. You'll be fine and pleased you bought them.

Or maybe not, I would never use them again, once bitten.:whistling:

Time will tell.

FWIW I didn't get my order last time and no response to my complaints.
Maybe they are ok now. Who knows ?

Good deal, H&R added - even better with the 10% off.

Lobbed 2100 MS points in at the same time ;)
