poundland do the zinc type, these are alkaline and last waay longer. i use em and they do well.

we use rechargables for the high drain stuff
these are good for the likes of remotes etc

What a comment!!! My wife thought she was being well clever when she got a 20 pack of "Ultrapower" AA batteries from some cheap shop for 99p. One by one they all went directly from packaging to electrical item to bin without stopping. I had to smile. Women, eh!

:xWarning. I bought these a couple of months ago. For the first time in 30 years I have seen batteries leak - twice. I have twice had to throw away battery operated toothbrushes in the last two months, before throwing away the rest of the Kodak batteries. These are bad.

Don't flame me, but another option. 7dayshop (or 14dayshop I call em) have 40 AA alkalines for £4.99 delivered. not kodak or anything, but ive gone for them just for the kiddies toys.

Unlucky twice with two different packs! Thats my experience but you'll make your own choice.

unlikely. i check my local poundland all the time and they have only ever had the normal kodak batteries not the kodak max.
