This may be misleading..it is simply a photo of the battery...you get 24 in the deal NOT 4.

Voted cold - you all should be using rechargeables!

Voted cold - you all should be using rechargeables!

Wonder how much you contribute to C02 levels by using rechargables all the time! A ReZap (for recharging standard batteries) is the better option.
#15
explain?
#16
Only 12 Duracell Plus for almost the same money on Amazon or (only) 20 for £7.99.this is a bargain
#17
This is a great deal so thanks I have voted HOT!
#18
Less than 17p a battery isn't bad! Thanks for this :)

I already am gary..but realise sometimes these are required for toys that use multi batteries...well that's what I was told on another thread when I suggested the same as you.

It's the battery disposal issue that encourages the use of rechargeables..most people bin them so you have the landfill issue to consider.

Batteries arrived today, Ordered pm on the 15th
Good overall service from this supplier :santa:
#23
how do these compare to the rayovak batteries??

There's a lot this going around at the moment. Whether it is a hot deal or not doesn't seem to have anything to do with it :?
#25
Mine arrived today, thank you

all I can quote is this

Tests show that no alkaline battery from any leading brand surpasses the long life and performance that KODAK MAX AA/AAA Alkaline Batteries deliver. - Outstanding Performance

so this suggests that there are equals but nothing is better.
#27
Excellent deal - thanks! Just ordered 24 for my Dad as he needs some decent batteries for his camera, plus numerous other devices for which rechargeables are not suitable. Voted hot. Cheers.
#28
great price.
#29
I have added some heat!!

Just ordered 5 mins ago I hope they come quickly cos my Wiimote needs them.

The Wiimote hated the Tesco Value Zinc Cholride ones (63p)!!
#30
Rechargables cost so very little and use very little electricity to charge up. Four rechargables for £9 give you the equivilent of 4000 of these at £665, even at this low price. The math tells the story.
I'm still gonna vote this hot though, because it's a stonking good deal for alkalines. But rechargables are the way to go for all the right reasons, even if it is good to have a few alkalines around the house for emergencies.
#31
ordered 48 batteries. should last me awhile i think
thanks
#32
These are still available.
#33
This is a great deal, found this graph which shows they are as good as duracell ultra m3

taken from here http://www.thomasdistributing.com/kodak-max-alkaline.htm

#34
quick question, do i order 2 12 packs to get 4, or order 4 and pay for 2?
#35
fab, thanks , heat and repped!!
#36
Buy rechargables.
You know it makes sense
#37
i have rechargables, but forget to charge them loads sooo.....they not much use flat :)
#38
Great for the likes of Bluetooth pc keyboards where rechargeables would lose charge to quickly. Also 1.2V rechargeables may not work in all applications, especially where many are required.
#39
these arrived on saturday, seems fantastic value for the amount of batteries, cheers currychops!!
#40
i received mine other day too. very impressed.
