These batteries boasted the highest/longest endurance in the The Gadget Show Battery Test.

Kodak came out second *value* to Morrison's - but that was when they were priced at £2.49 for 4!
And in any case, they lasted longer than any other alkaline brand (incl Duracell).
However you interpret these tests, a steal at 89p and free postage - ideal for getting those Xmas working :)
I just ordered 10 packs

Wouldn't you have been better off (in the long run) buying rechargeables?
#4
Well, it was an option but these batteries are really good, and at Xmas time there are so many things that need batteries. Having 1 or 2 sets of rechargables will not be enough.

Plus of course, rechargeables generally have a **** shelf life and so are invariably flat when you want to use them. The alkaline's last years on the shelf.
Rechargeables are ideal for motorised toys that are used every day and then charged overnight.

I would never buy from DirectFoto ever again after my last experience - I ordered items that they eventually told me were out of stock - after chasing for non-delivery. They never answered the phone and when they did reply to e-mails they did not honour promises of a refund. They did finally refund my money after months and months. If you search the 'review' websites you will see many people have had a similar experience. Good luck, you have been warned.

Me too took them 7 weeks to refund my payment that was after 4 weeks of telling me "oh they will be in stock next week" after being told that several times i asked for my money back.

Sorry, but Kodak batteries are the worst I've ever bought, used them in my digital camera, and their life-span was terrible. I was amazed, not voting either way though.

Strange - without a doubt they have served me better than just about any other - especially in motorised gadgets/toys. Are you sure they were the 'Max' versions?
