This is a great price for this model. I've got both the Zi6 and the Zx1 and have been nothing but happy with the results I've had from them. At under £80, I may buy one of these and sell my other 2.

hot!!!! Great deal

Very good price - was listed at £106 last month.

I have one of these and can really recommend it.

Good price. If you don't need waterproof then the Vado is just £54 at Amazon.

Great little camcorder, fantastic for holidays
#10
Got one, great quality and does 5mp stills. Big let down is the .MOV video files which need converting if you use an editing suite programme, that said, worth the price
#11
I bought one of these when kodak had the offer on a few months ago, brilliant camera, brougt it on holiday with me and used in the swimming pool, fantastic hd videos and also takes really good photos
#12
These are not bad, good photos, but for video, doesnt beat one of my GoPro HD's. Heat added tho :)

Gotsent does this very easily, but windows movie maker supports .mov files

(Abyss - Black) version is £73.97

It looks good for MTBing, the only problem would be mounting the huge chunky thing, as placing it on the bars is not an option, as you can see in the demo footage;

Think I wont return my ContourHD just yet (despite not having used it)

Got one of these last year - great cam. Bit of wobble in 1080P but what do you expect at this price. I recommend it to anyone for holidays or general youtube cam :)

Used it round the parks in Florida was class - especially in the water parks and on water rides. Good enough for general still pics as well in daylight - after the first day we didn't bother taking the stills camera.

Seems like a great deal. Heat added. I have the Flipvideo HD, and am seriously tempted to get this as well. A lot of reviews suggest that this is better.

i've tried it mountain biking but the mounting bracket i had was poor and there was too much shake on the camera
#19
try attaching to helmit :) your body makes a better shock absorber.

How long does the battery last, and is it removable?

LOL And people complain that the GoProHD is a big unit to attach to the hemlet?

Unfortunately its not the right form factor to be doing that and it weighs 128g without the battery, so if will be a faily hefty bulk to add to your lid.

Crikey, the Zx1 lasts for over 2 hours with its rechargeable AA batteries. I was expecting more from this new one!

Doesn't sound like cheap spare batteries are much use if I want to record for more than an hour. I'd have bough this otherwise :(

Thanks for the heads up on this. Bought a couple plus two spare batteries for my boys. Great for our trip to florida next year as they wanted something to use in the water parks.

thx. went for the blue one in the end as it's a gift.
edit-just looked and noted that avides dispatch from germany. not an issue unless there's a problem, perhaps, to return it. so, all in all, quite glad i missed the slightly lower price from them.
