You can expire it, but maybe you should just put on a woolly jumper and endure the temperature :p

I notice Kogan have dropped all their TV products from the UK, I guess that enterprise didn't work out for them then?
From memory, at least the first TVs they sold in the UK had no Freeview HD and had poor reviews, plus you can now get something half-decent for similar prices from a supermarket that has Freeview HD. No UK HD broadcast support is arguably much more of a deal-breaker for a cheap second set since many households only have one PVR/satellite/cable box.

As raj75 says add at least £45.80 for VAT depending on whether it gets charged for the delivery fee as well. And any duty that might be charged, and VAT on the duty (never understood that), plus £10-£15 handling fee from the courier for paying the fees to HMRC on your behalf.

So that makes at least £300.
Retail price direct from Apple UK with your choice of colour - £319.

Definitely not worth it. But they are at least upfront about the possible charges unlike many sites.
Delivery charge very expensive

This means that you may pay an additional amount once your goods arrive in United Kingdom.

I did mention this… It would be worth contacting Kogan as when you add products to basket it say this includes VAT.

So if VAT is included in the price then why state that VAT may apply??? If the company is UK registered for VAT then you wont pay VAT on top of the price, but from the wording, i suspect this company is not UK VAT registered, hence the "This means that you may pay an additional amount once your goods arrive in United Kingdom."

DO NOT BUY anything from Kogan. If anything goes wrong then you will be stuck. They do not answer the phone, email or court letters. Google Kogan customer support and read other reviews or just try to call them and find out for yourself. Shocking company and should be banned from selling in the UK as they do not comply with our selling laws. Spread the word, avoid at all cost.
Comes from HK so import duties and VAT may apply, better off buying something already here from hdew, panamoz or the like

Anyone spotted any UK stockists of this yet? Don't want to import it.
On top of any import duty parcelforce will charge you £13 for the pleasure of their service.

Additionally, as stated above, like the oneplus one only EE use the 4G bands this phone can support (in the UK).
Uncertain price and lack of the other two UK / EU 4G bands kinda ruins it a bit.

Agree with scoot. Bought this phone myself, thought it was great at first then everything started going wrong, random switch off, dropping signal on sims, no reason at all. support was rubbish so switched to a cheap Chinese s4 mini clone which was half the price and been twice as good. Bought the tablet for me mam, which has the lightest use ever and the screens now gone faulty. Only good thing I can say about the company is their tvs. had a 32full Hd for over 2 years, had a lot of use and never missed a beat but I imagine it will be a throw away when something does go wrong.

Kogan agora are one of the worst products you can ever buy or company you can deal with. Its run by a bunch of yobs in Australia with two dodgy addresses in central London. My personal experience; I bought their tablet which turned out to be faulty and then they messed me around for weeks. Only when I started involving Trading standards that I managed to get some refund back from them. Dont ever waste your money on kogan products (personal experience)

Why would you ever buy this rubbish. No UK base, bunch of yobs running this company from Australis selling re-badged worst quality Chinese rubbish. Hope you don't have any issues with it, otherwise you will always regret buying kogan product (like me)
Phone arrived today, no notification it was with courier, no tracking number but it arrived.
First impressions are good. It does everything you expect, display looks good to me and it is fast.
Wireless works well, GPS is fine. Comes with standard android apps, no bloatware.
Need to find suitably sized case to protect it. I guess Kogan phone cases are few and far between so will have to look for phone of similar size and try that type of case.
Has anyone taken delivery of one of these phones yet? Any opinions how good the phone is?

I couldn't resist replying to your comment X) Just wanted to say couple of things: 1. Yes it is the VAT + a bit extra for the exchange rates. 2. I assume by "county" you meant to write/say "country". 3. Clearly you haven't been outside of the country if you think UK is the best on the planet lol :{

We all do typos, and to pick up on them, well, all I can say is poor form. oO (I have Dyslexia and cant help when spell check doesn't help as the mistakes are legitimate words!)

And, onto 'if you think UK is the best on the planet lol' I'll let you into a little secret, its called irony, something the Brits are world leaders in.

Well doesn't seem t be much better than the Namco g40c which flogs on ebay for around the £40 mark and its amazing

Sorry cant find it on Ebay, I am desperate for a phone as my just went to faulty heaven. oO

Nam Gear G40C? looks like 256MB RAM lol! does google play even load with that little memory?

The phone posted by OP looks decent except for a mediatek phone at this price i would expect the turbo chipset. Never even heard of Kogan, sounds like a generic chinese phone, but it's being talked about like a major brand so i guess not which is good for warranty i guess.

G40C has 256mb ram but can be fitted with a 32gb micro sd card
Unfortunately that doesn't upgrade your ram, just your storage.

I think these are made in China by Hisense, cheaply made but not total crap. Still though I can imagine Kogan being a right pain to deal with if a fault develops further down the line, especially after 12 months and you try to invoke the SOGA.

When are people going to actually learn what makes a TV great or bad.

Like with cameras, the lens and image sensor are the vital components (what the camera "sees" and how it "processes"), with TVs obviously it is the screen and the video processing (scaler board) that are the vital ingredients.

Most large names such as LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sony etc etc actually give jargon for their video processing, you are likely to be hard pushed to find what video processing engine is behind any budget tv....not to say that they are "bad" tvs, but most cheap tvs make a ploy by saying they have "LG" or "Samsung" panels..which is great, but the video processor is equally as important for good picture quality with an array of fine tuning options.
Now showing as £239

Looks as good as? I bet if you cover up brand names on a few tv, you wont know who h one is which :p

I bet I would,

here is your rule of thumb

Own brand Super Market TV's - Avoid! cheap prices (although not much than a decent set) but cheap quality, bad picture, terrible sound, no connectivity or very little features.

Bush, Sharp, JVC etc - Low brand models for those who think they are a good, usually get idots believing they are owned by Sony and its the same panel as the £3000.00 models..... also usually missing key features like picture adjustment controls or ARC low amounts of HDMI and USB connections etc..

Phillips, Toshiba - tend to be a bit better than the low brand quality (lets call them mid brand) sets these are the true budget brands that offer a little value for money.

LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Sony - Really if you want a decent TV, if you have money to spend or looking for a budget TV then these are the brands you should only bother with, obviously read reviews and do your homework, but anything less is a false economy.

and remember just because its 50+ inch and only cost you £100.00 it doesn't mean its any good!

Nah. I've got an LG and, while it looks nice, its features are pretty rubbish. EPG is terrible, navigation is sluggish, and it won't let me delete any channels (e.g. porn). Yet my super-cheap Tesco telly is... well... also pretty bad TBH. But it was cheap, and it's definitely no worse than the LG

Ive have a 24" Kogan tv that I got for the bedroom a couple years ago. The company was fine, delivery was prompt etc. I've not had any problems so far with the TV, so can't comment on customer service.
The PVR function is handy when you want to record or pause something, and the picture is fine for the money. Sound is a little tinny, but that's to be expected with a small tv I guess. Only real annoying thing is it can be slow to start up when you first turn it on, which can be annoying if you are trying to catch the start of a show. However for the price I would say this is a small issue I can live with.

Other than a narrower viewing angle than expected, no issues with the one I sorted for a buddy a few weeks ago.
If the Android function is of no interest to you, I would consider the Blaupunkt 3D at similar-ish money instead, although I think the BP has no PVR. Probably £10-20 price difference in favour of the Kogan depending if same or earlier Kogan offer is ever repeated, but the BP is available immediately. I have bought both in last six months.

I bought this for my daughter's bedroom last week when it was £185. She has no aerial socket in her room so she uses it for PS3 and catchup tv . Connected to Wifi fine, it browses well , you tube and other apps work fine, google play all working. The picture quality is fine and Blue Ray quality is very good and the sound levels not as bad as I thought it would be. She has connected a keyboard for easier browsing .Overall I think for the money for a Smart Tv it is fantastic.
