Bike thieves will come from far and wide to admire it :)
#3
I'm still holding out for it to drop below that magic £2500 mark! ;-)
#5
Does it include a free voucher for entering the "You've got more money than sense" biking competition? Wow, I am surprised the website still shows them in stock...
#6

Damn - never saw that - do you think they will let me cancel :whistling:
#7
as far as jokes go this is pretty pathetic

You could buy a reasonably decent used car for that sort of money. But that wouldn't be as good for the environment..........

Is this the Rolls Royce of bikes?
#13
Wow this has got - Kona Wah-Wah Pedals.

This is actually a top spec downhill rig. Not normally the sort of thing you find on HUKD but the £2749 price is a bargain for what it is.

If ever something was going to save your neck when flying down mountains at 40mph this will be the bad boy to do it. I ride a coiler deelux and they ride like they're on rails at speed, down hill. The Marzocchi's handle all but the very biggest boulders. Nowt beats them IMO. Nice.

The forks alone for this bike are nearly £700!!

description does not show any lights for night time cycling, should budget for another tenner and get them at argos!

Frame has 7 inch travel with Dope - I'm sure I could get much further than that on Dope !
Oh well, shame it doesn't come in Orange, else I wouldn't have hesitated.

Great price clueless negative feedback!

The negative comments left on this site by people who do not have a clue about the product never ceases to amaze me .

I understand people NOW voting cold since others have found THIS bike cheaper elsewhere, but the people who voted cold because they can buy a bike for £60 out of ASDA should really not vote at all. What's the point?

I guess everyone who has made a senseless comment owns a Perodua Kelisa, because who would want to spend £15k on a Ford Focus? They both do the same thing, right??????

Thank you OP for taking the time out to submit this deal, sorry you were mocked by negative comments.

I am waiting for the price to fall down to 29.99.

Perhaps, but still....everyone has a hobby, i'm sure you do, and those that share similar tastes could benefit from this.

Would you not be gutted if you missed out on a bargain on something you really liked, relevant to your hobby, because it was a bit specialist, people didn't understand what it was, voted it cold and it never came to your attention.

What's happened here is someone has found a 33% discount on something, a saving of £1500 and people who have no idea have decided to mock it instead. I didn't realise this site was full of snobs or those that that decreed one hobby was more relevant than another, I thought this was site was full of bargain hunters. £1500 saving is a bargain.

I'm not trying to save the world or anything, but I think if it continues people will simply not bother to post, and when that starts to happen, this site will be useless :( I love this site, and hope that never happens.

Rant over :-D

i'm sure the neg comments are not meant to be mean, just some banter, if truth be told, there are probably only 2 or 3 ppl interested on this post, would they like to be left alone? if so go on a specific forum for these products, don't post on a site like this,

this happens all the time, live with it.

Well said  The neg comments dont bother me......generally if I feel that a deal is not good then I might vote it cold but probably wouldn't bother leaving a comment unless the OP has a record for posting cold deals....even then I probably wouldn't waste my time....
As it is, this seemed like a good deal (dont forget the £150 quido) and well done for those who pointed out that you can actually get it cheaper elsewhere....that is what the site is all about......I don't look at every post....only the ones that interest me.....now if I was in the market for a new high end bike then I would have a ) read this post and b) be well chuffed that the OP and the others who found a better price had identified a high end bike that had been reduced by over £1500 - job done :whistling:
