The rear shock and front suspension alone are worth over a grand if you were to buy them seperately.

These bikes are on clearance as they are a 2009 model and to be quite frank are hard to get hold of now. RRP is £2935.19 which is way over priced for what you could get as an alternative but at £1599,99 the Deluxe becomes something of a bargain for what it is as the standard Stinky is the same price. Sadly they only have smaller frames but if your a shorter rider and ride a 16 or 17 inch bike you should be fine with the 15.5" frame, I know I am at least.

The other Konas on clearance can be found here: http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/category/552/Kona_Bikes_Clearance_Sale

PS - If you're too ignorant to even understand the concept of a quality bike (hence the price) and are used to the Argos death trap crap then please don't vote this cold because of that ignorance, hence fourth appropriate comments are welcome. This is a serious bike for serious bikers.

PS2 - These bikes are subject to a Pre Delivery Inspection before they are dispatched, so delivery could take upto 5 days.
Thanks

Stinky eh? How appropriately named!

If I was a foot shorter I'd go for thisoO

Sorry, am I missing something here? Does the bike fly? It really ought to for this sort of money. How can the most hideous looking bike in history RRP at 2,935 quid?

Try pricing up some of the seperate components, it's easier to realise the cost of higher end bikes when you actually look into the cost of the components bolted onto them, there is more to mountain bikes than the toys found in Toys R Us and Halfrauds.

Saying that, for 1600 notes, I would still be put off by this having a 7005 aluminium frame, would have expected better at the RRP at least.

Brilliant price for brilliant downhill bike. Hot from me. I used to own a Stinky Deelux in my younger fitter days when it was a more allround freeride bike before they kinda changed it to a downhill monster. Great bikes.

I guess the cold voters aren't really into 'proper' cycling. I have a Kona and have been using and abusing it since I bought it new in 2007, the only issue I've had is that I managed to break the chain - my fault not the bikes!

As others have said, it would be difficault to build a bike of this quality for the same money, but as it's not £75 I guess it's never going to get super hot on here.
