These are AMAZING for migraines and even Cluster Headaches which are a million times worse (I have them). They have some sort of magic cooling menthol gel that lasts for 8 hours and it definitely soothes the pain from migraines. I'd pay more that the RRP for these as they help so much so for them to be half price (£1.64) is fabulous for me and I have stocked up on them.
Deal runs out on 5th jan. They also have kool n soothe fever for £1.30 for kids or adults with flu or colds etc

Ordered, thank you, been getting lots of migraines lately. Been using wheat bags that have been in freezer, helps so much.

I bought some of these last week, but found them too strong to use on my head, however I discovered they are amazing for soothing and cushioning blisters when your shoes rub!!!

do these really work on migraines?

They worked on cluster headaches (aka suicide headaches - Google it) which are described as the worst pain humans can endure, so in comparison a migraine is a scrape on the knee. They get very cold and while the strip is on all you can think about it the cold and it takes away from the pain in your head.

They were literally a life saver for me (see suicide headaches) and i strongly recommend them.

Weird, maybe just your local store. You could try the cheaper kool n soothe fever ones, same thing but less strong i guess.

Thanks for info. I'm going to buy them regardless of cost to try. I have been diagnosed with migraines and NOTHING takes them away. the tabs the doc prescribed make me feel as if I've had a stroke (sumpitripan) migraleve and imigran?

I suffer from chronic intractable migraines and to describe them as a scrape on the knee is extremely offensive. They are officially one of the most disabling conditions known to mankind. I have lost my family, house and everything I have worked my whole life for because of migraines. They are far more than just a headache. Google it.

These may well work on a slight headache but having suffered with migraines for the past 18 years, even the strongest prescribed painkillers sometimes fail to take away the pain.

A migraine: The exact mechanisms of migraine are not known. It is, however, believed to be a neurovascular disorder. The primary theory is related to increased excitability of the cerebral cortex and abnormal control of pain neurons in the trigeminal nucleus of the brainstem.

No amount of gel strips are going to help you if you suffer from an actual migraine

I also suffer from chronic migraines and also found the scrape on the knee comment a bit offensive. Can't we just agree that cluster headaches, migraines and any other similar pain is horrendous, and any kind of relief is worth a go.

I agree - different treatments work for different people - and even different attacks on different days for the same person! Sometimes I can stave off a really nasty attack with simple painkillers and other times what seems like a mild attack just does on and on and on and on.... and no amount of meds will shift it but it just gets worse until I feel like chucking myself under a bus.

So whatever works for you - great - go for it! Good luck and I envy you - wish I could find something that was reliable instead of just working my way through the meds cupboard every attack till something worked (or not! oO )

Ok
How about you google Suicide Headaches then you will
Understand why I compared a migraine to a scrape on the knee because a suicide headache is THE WORST PAIN a human can endure. I should know because I suffer from them. I have also had migraines. I would much rather have a thousand migraines that one MINUTE of a suicide headache. The point I was making was that these helped me during my suicide headache attacks so I am sure they would help
With other's migraines.

I'm only trying to help by sharing the deal as they have helped me so much.

If they don't help you then I'm sorry. Maybe your pain threshold is different.

I have stocked up on these in preparation for the next suicide headache attack as they help instantly rather than waiting for painkillers to kick in.

The pain occurs only on one side of the head (unilateral), around the eye (orbital), particularly above the eye (supraorbital), in the temple (temporal), or in any combination. The pain of CH is remarkably greater than in other headache conditions, including severe migraine. The term "headache" does not adequately convey the severity of the condition; the disease may be the most painful condition known to medical science.[10] The pain is described as burning, stabbing, boring or squeezing and may be located near or behind the eye.[11] Those with cluster headaches may experience suicidal thoughts during an attack as a result of the pain - Wikipedia

my experience... these things don't touch the sides during a cluster attack. More like a frozen gel pack pummeled into your head harder than a hammer and writhing in agony. The menthol combined with tearing eye is not a winning combo. To expand the above analogy, using these during a cluster attack is like using a pocket fan to stop a tsunami.

Heat added. These are great. Ordered thank you

Excellent deal. These work on my headaches, migraines and neuralgia. Even if oxycodone can't clear them, these usually will.
#24
I really feel for anyone who suffers CH or Migraine - Both awful conditions

I read that smokers and men were most affected by CH. So stop smoking and get a sex change :) Also alcohol can trigger..

Oh and Oxygen apparently helps if it's really bad :)

Thanks for posting the deal, Heat added

I have them and I've never smoked and I'm a woman :/ excess sugar and alcohol trigger the CH in my case so I try to stay clear but as you know they just happen for a no reason and these strips do help, they don't cure the pain but they help a little so I'm definitely stocking up.
