The do this you need to turn the cans in a 4pack so only one can on each side shows full bar code (the other can shouldn't have bar code visible). Then try to pick cashier who scans items automatically, without consideration. Put the 4pack on the conveyor belt so the codes on the cans are on the cashier's and scanner's sides (the code on the paper packaging shouldn't be in the scanner range). Then hopefully cashier grabs it, scans the code on the can, making the sweet deal of 4 x 500ml cans at £1.45! I did it twice already
I hope it will work for you as well.
Enjoy!

That's not really a deal is it?

More like a scam.

Isn't this like hiding one item inside another = theft? :whistling:

I've got a better deal; wear a coat with big pockets, and take what you want without paying.

Admittedly, it's pretty much the same deal as the one as the OP submitted.

dont think so...codes are on the item you buying...the same with reduced items, you have two codes, one with original price, the other (on yellow sticker) with reduced price.
It works exactly in the same way

I'm not asking anyone to hide goods, or steal them, they all going through normal scanning process

:whistling: I'm guessing that could be called fraud ..................... not really a hot deal:x

Yeah, all in all its attempted fraud by deception.

The offence is fraud by false representation. Hardly worth running the risk of getting paraded out of the store by Police into a cell, then given a criminal record is it? :x

Oh, I don't know. It's tasty stuff.

So are the cans usually £1.45 each in Sainsburys?? In that case if you have an Ikea near you they sell them in the Swedish shop (usually near the exit) for 1.05 a can or 95p a can for the non-alcoholic version. ;-)
