It takes to 50% off at checkout. website was quite slow but I got some nice bits. thanks
Are the prices already 50% off, or will they take 50% at the checkout? At the moment it's 24£ for a large jar, ant it seems too expendive!

Seems Kringle Candles are closing down, which is a bit of a shocker. Can see a new Deal made out of it today, but this hasn't "Expired", in theory..... :|

FOR CLARITY, you only get the OP price + 50% off if you spend 80. The less you spend, the lower the discount as should be explained in the OP.
Thanks OP, wanted to try the gentlemans no.2 one for some time, so have ordered 3 and some max welts ofc lol
Caskey
These are a lot stronger than Yankee and also don't tunnel as much. I suggest buying the hot chocolate scent, it is so damn strong yet lovely!

I recently starting burning my hot chocolate one for the first time its gorgeous, everyones commented on how strong and lovely it is.
Thanks OP - managed to place an order! Will last me the whole year.
Just to add Kringle was owned by the owner of Yankee before selling the company
And as caskey said there a lot stronger and 2 wick will not tunnel
Also if you can find a bargain priced woodwick candles are very nice as well.

village candle is where its at

kringle is soooo 2013

Village are a big no! Yankee come on top every time.
Kringle jars aren't great - they seem to have to be burning for a couple of hours before you can 'really' smell them but their wax melts are fantastic.
I don't think these candles are good at all the fragrance does not last. I use Stoneglow candles, they have Buy 1 get 1 free at the moment which makes them a great deal.
Got loads of these, so many are weak and smell nothing like the label says.

Have tried a couple now and really not impressed - hardly any scent. What there is is pleasant enough but in conversation with someone at work who makes candles / wax melts it seems wax melts are the best by far. She says Village are better than Kringle and Yankee and handmade wax melts from local companies (like hers - voted in the top 3 of all producers in a rating recently) are often even better because they have a higher concentration of fragrance.

I've been saying this for ages !!!
I've had a few village candles and they do have a great scent throw but the problem is some of their scents are rather harsh. I've burned their wish upon a star, apples and evergreen, winter wonderland, happy holidays and deck the halls.
Wish upon a star is an awesome scent and really strong.
Apples and evergreen is a good Apple scent but can be a little thin.
Winter wonderland is ok but seems to get me in the back of my throat.
Happy holidays is just straight up clove and cinnamon and is really harsh.
Deck the halls is village candles take on Christmas tree and is ok but again really strong and can get the back of my throat.
I've hot mulled cider as well but it's unburned.
After my candles are gone its tarts only for me as they offer great scent throw along with a quick way to change scent, no having to wait for wax pools it's quick scent throw and change when wanted.

These are way better than Yankee candles, none in the selection that I want though :(

Nooo just NO!

@burgerl0ver
Samplers are not worth buying from any candle company there is no scent throw from them and the only way to get any scent from them is to split them in half to remove the wicks and use in a tart warmer. This gives you essentially 2 tarts and you do get a good scent throw although not quite as strong as a proper wax tart.

If you are dissapointed with the candles like I am I would give tarts a go. A Yankee petal tart warmer can be bought for less than £6 and tarts start at 89p(scent of the month at retailers). With the scent being so strong it's a no brainer. ABother point is a tart lasts between 8-10 hours scent and if you take true avarage price of tart compared to jars the terts work out cheaper (70 hours of tarts = £8.50 at £1.25 avarage price compared 65-80 hours from a medium jar that retails at £16.99).
Tea lights are so cheap (asda 100 for £2) that given the state of yankee and their jars it's better to give the tarts a go !!!

Thanks for the advice. I've bought my friend a Yankee petal tart warmer with a tart for xmas and I've been really tempted to use it myself. I think I will buy one after xmas, thank you!
All out of stock

I've also been tempted back to order another three varieties. This time we've opted for Cider Atkins Donut, Royal Cherries and Warm Cotton. We'll share some feedback when they arrive. Some of the flavours are now back in stock.

If any of you guys get your candle(s) in the next few days, please could you post back some comments drawing comparisons between these and yankee? I need to buy a couple but don't know which to go for...as never heard of these, but hear friends praising yankee all the time... the price of these is tempting..
I've just put in my order. They are selling out - lots of scents out of stock so if you want to try I would order ASAP.
My order arrived this morning and all 3 are even better than I imagined! So much so I've ordered Snow Day, Under The Sea, Atkins Cider and another Warm Cotton. Kringle Cookie is also a great Christmas one and lasts right through the whole festive period! Beachside is another light and fresh summery one. Warm Cotton us very similar to the Yankee Candle one. Peppermint Kiss is exactly as you would imagine it!

Hope this helps!

£40 for three candles? Just go to Asda and spend a heck of a lot less, then you have more money to spend on a real present...
Don't think so- add 3 jars to you basket and it automatically takes off the discount.
is that just for existing customer.

As for which candles are better, both are mass produced on assembly lines using exactly the same machinery, the same Libbey supplied glassware, the same pour process and the same fragrance oil concentrations. The only real difference is the fact that Kringle products are undyed. They both employ a pour process where fragrance concentration is higher in the top third of the jar than the lower two thirds, so that the candle smells much stronger when you pop the lid in store. There are many better brands of candle handmade right here in the UK.
Care to make some suggestions so that people can maybe give them a try for themselves? Ta!

I've actually visited both Kringle & Yankee in MA & Kringle wins everytime hands down for me. Their waxes & oils are much higher quality than Yankee (like Yankee used to be when Mike was there). If you can remember the quality of yankee 10/15 years ago, that is the quality Kringle Candles are. Best around IMHO :)

We smash the large jars and use the bits you can't burn anymore to use in a tart burner. The fragrance doesn't last as long as actual wax tarts but it saves it going to waste.
