You're right, in fact I can never understand why people ever buy expensive things.
Why have 1 Porsche when you can have 15 Fords?
Why have 1 mansion when you can have 500 1 bedroom houses in Manchester?
etc.

I agree - it is a rip off BUT They are the best tasting donuts in the world ! !

So if you have an iPhone, Drink @ $tarBuck$, Drive an Audi, HairCut @ Toni&Guys or have a Apple Mac go get 'em

Voted hot

Umm, good offer, I love krispy kremes - wish they did them up north. Anyways, I was wondering are the doughnuts in Tesco's as fresh as the ones from the Krispy Kreme stores??
#16
Agree! Krispy kremes are what I miss most about living in Manchester.

I agree, i always stop off at knutsford services when i visit the outlaws in Leicester. Its about time these were available north of the border.

Its about time they allowed people to open franchises and stopped being stingy about it.
I have applied 3 times to get one in a certain big shopping centre in the midlands, that may be a cross that is up high, each time I'm told they don't want to take on any more franchisees at the moment due to economic climate??? I have the money waiting Mr Kreme, lets make wonderful donuts together!

I'd suggest you walk. You'll need the exercise after eating one of these.

Mmmm. Donuts. Sadly no Krispy Kreme in Leicester :-(
plz open one here.
#23
The original ones freeze really well if you can't eat them all in one go. Nothing compares to theses, a real treat, love them.

They never taste quite as fresh to me... but it might depend on how far the Tesco is from the place they're made...

£12 for 24 doughnuts.

Wish I could afford to blow that kind of money.

I can but still wont - they're good but I don't enjoy being mugged! 10p/doughnut would still be steep.
#29
Tesco in Prescot - Merseyside stock them..... apparantly if it is any use to any of you
#30
dammit i've still got three tins of quality street to get through

If that's the pinnacle of living in Manchester. I think I'll give it a miss.

btw, how can anyone eat so many doughnuts? I buy a pack of 5 and that's too many.

try sainsburys bakers dozen ring donuts for £1, especially when they're still warm. amazing. not seen them in my local for a couple of months though. i got 14 donuts in a box once, felt like i'd won something.
#33
nearest shop to me is 200 miles away and no-one seems to sell them in fs/ft???
#34
24, blimey, thats a lot of doughnuts! Don't think we'd cope.....

Top Tip: we stick 1 in the microwave, between 5-10 secs (no more than 10), they generally taste a bit fresher doing this, especially after a couple days.
#35
yesterday i bougth 10 for £9.99 this I call rip off

Nothing. Nothing at all. This is serious hype and I take my hat off to the marketing men for convincing some of the British public that they need to buy TWENTY FOUR cakes for twelve quid.

Not just any cakes either, the cheapest of all the cakes to make.

This is a bog standard cake, please do not sully the name of Porsche, et al, by comparing it.
