Some people involved with making this movie also worked on Dune...
Kenneth Marshall later starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a recurring role.
Perhaps a sequel or a remake is in order? Then again this was made before CGI and the Black Fortress still looks a surreal delight...

Oh yes! I had forgotten about that - I think he must have been writing this around the time he scored STII - Wrath of Khan as the styles are very similar.

The glaive (boomerang thingy) or Glade as I called it for years by accident (imagine the Beast getting killed by spingtime air freshner) :-D should come with a health and safety warning...use it for the first time and it'll go right through your hand...I think Krull Trading Standards should sort it out :-D sorry
