Take 1 capsule of liquid coffee (costing 30p+), put it in a machine that punctures the lid, mixes it with hot water and pours it into a cup.....

Can't see the value for money in any of these Nespresso machines!

This one doesn't even froth milk.

It's not liquid coffee, its normal ground coffee inside the capsule and the machine has to reach quite an high enough pressure to get a good coffee.

The whole system is quite neat, in that you have a single lever that discards any old pod to a storage bin, opens/closes the pod holder and punctures the pod. Quite stylish too.

I'm a confessed espresso nut and like to grind (even roast sometimes!) the beans myself, before extracting the "precious nectar" on my Pavoni but I have friends with the Nespresso and it does produce an enjoyable espresso with nice thick crema on top, much better than Starbucks and still a lot cheaper too.

If you don't like espresso and only drink cappucinos/lattes/etc then I don't think this is the machine for you. However if you like a nice espresso and don't care to get your hands/kitchen top messy or want it in a small neat package then Nespresso could work.

They have several nespresso models with frother, but are more expensive probably around £85 with all the discounts.

This is posted as a hot deal, which it is. Whether you personally would want one is another matter.

I have just purchased a sliver Nepresso machine from this site, using the codes. This reduced the price from £90.00 to £67.50 delivered. There is also the potential for 4% Quidco & the £30.00cash back, giving a total cost of £34.80 AND nectar points!

I'd call this a HOT deal.

Definitely hot - whether you like them of not, this is a huge reduction on the normal price. Persoanlly, I can't be doing with them. I've got a client who has one, and I find in order to get a decent mug of coffee, I have to use 2 of his little gold coffee things; when 1 teaspoon of Gold Blend would do fine. But for those that like "coffee coffee", £45 is a great deal.
