Good price. IMO it's worth paying for quality and Kryptonite locks are pretty damn good. Bear in mind it's advised you spend 10 - 20% of the value of your bike on a lock, so maybe not worth it for an old beater you don't really care about. Also worth noting that these mini locks really are tiny - would never fit round a lamppost or similar so you're limited to railings, bike storage areas etc.

I use 2 Kryptonite locks on my motorcycle stored outside in Glasgow's East End - 1 year later it's still there!

Can there be any better recommendation for the quality of these locks? Heat added! :p

Great if you're protecting your bike against Superman, not so great when a few cans of keyboard duster turned upside down is enough to weaken the integrity of the lock and a well placed hammer blow finishes it off for good.

No lock in the world is break proof.

No, but this is better than most and that's often good enough to persuade a potential thief to look to the next bike on the rack.

It is increadably heavy, but still recommended, comes out pretty much top in most reviews

Can I ask then, what you would propose?

Bring along your very own Commander Data to errect a level 10 Force-field with a fractal encryption code around your bike? :?

Pfft, Jack Bauer would get through a level 10 with fractal encryption using just a toothpick and Sprint sponsored PDA

Hmmm, you sound like you know what you're doing mate .

So is this good enough to deter the skunked up Stella driven chavs from jacking your bike I wonder?

Yes, its the best lock you can get pretty much. Cans of keyboard duster and a hammer wont get into this.
