Seems like a good price but you're supposed to consume within one month of opening. Probably only good for those running a curry house or trying for a heart attack!

I would think one could divide it into smaller pots and freeze them to extend the life.

Experience tells us that it would under general conditions last longer than a month.

Probably good for an asian family with loads a people.

Oh man, this stuff is heart attack inducing! Unfortunately a great addition to really rich tasting indian recipes. ;-)

Oh, and in my opinon lasts for absolute ever as it is just basically fat!

Good price for a tin that will harden many arteries for a long while! :p

Excellent for adding bulk to quality hash.

As recommended by Malcolm Tucker:
"I f***ing love ghee...it's like freebasing butter."

curried?

Will keep a long time in a correctly controlled fridge or about 6 months without tainting in a freezer, better for cooking than normal butter, no impurities or addatives, just pure fat:roll:

I prefer it smoked :)
