I was in HMV earlier today and saw kung fu hustle for £3 so I had to buy it at that price,a class movie, there was a few other top movies at bargain prices,I also bought the usual suspects at £3 and romanzo crimanale at £4 which are good prices, anyways I checked online and kung fu hustle is showing at £7.99 but its definatley £3 instore, btw this is the 1st deal ive posted so please be gentle and try not to flame me to much.

Shaolin Soccer is another film by Stephen Chow that is equally as good.

Amen.

What a superb film. I remember them having it for £3 or £5 but last I checked it was £16 :x so I'm definitely going there today to get it.

Shaolin soccer is good, but IMHO not quite up to par with Kung fu hustle.

Great film.Pure entertainment...very funny, brilliant fight scenes and quite moving (well Maybe I am a bit soppy) was on telly a few times recently, but only ever shown with subtitles. The dvd gives audio options and has other good features and is one of a very few films I own on Dvd, has much re-watch value..........................One of the Best Dvds of the century.

You should never watch a dubbed movie if you can avoid it. For the most part they match the dialogue to the lip movements rather than a direct translation so you can get some pretty weird dubs. It also freaks me out when I hear voices from He-Man and the Ninja Turtles doing the english audio versions. :?

The only films i've watched with 'good' dubs are Crouching Tiger as computer graphics altered the lip movements and the movies of Hayao Miyazaki as the cast on the dub are often better than the original.

Not sure about that one. I would like the option of dual soundtrack on foreign films as with subs you miss a lot of the action in films due to just watching the bottom of the screen. Try watching Der Untergang for example, some excellent acting but the subs kill it :-(

One thing that makes my argument pointless is that many UK and US versions of movies claim dual audio in both the original language and English but only put subs for the english track available making watching the original audio pointless.

As far as subs I watch way to much foreign stuff from YesAsia and off the internet that it becomes second nature to read subs with a glance. Only realised this could be an issue for other people when I had too keep pausing for friends to catch up recently.
