Intel 600p Series 512GB M.2-2280 SSD £165.48 @ Kustom PC

Cheapest nvme ssd m.2 card on the market at the moment and lowest price I've seen (was £175 on Scan.co.uk last week) Very fast drive with the main downside being a low 72TB endurance rating for all…

I'm looking for an m.2, but why do they make them so ugly, how many motherboards are green!

Were you being serious when you made that comment?

Someone's buying into the incessant "remain" propaganda that the results shouldn't be final until they get their own way, eh ? (By the way, I accidentally tapped on "like" - why's there no way to deselect it ?)
Hahahah. Whats the chances you'll claim you accidentally ticked the Leave box come April and want to change your mind - muppet!
Always found the ones who use the term "muppet" have less intelligence than the ACTUAL muppets without the hand in 'em and the voice-over. And boy oh boy are you a classic example of THAT !!!! X)
Erm yeah.. you obviously claim the high ground with that reply.
Certainly can. Don't think theres low enough grounds for yours

Cold, doesn't offer any faster speeds than a £50 SSD does, only a smaller form factor
Well in reality some people might very much need that form factor if they want to add an ssd to a laptop (and keep the 2.5" hdd assuming they have some) so I disagree with your voting reason.
But it is not a very good price, I think SanDisk enterprise similar cards sell for about 57£ for 256GB but those might be the 2280 form factor.
Anyway I would definitely rather go for sm951 if your mobile supports it even if you need to pay (a bit more) to get the actual benefit of M.2 cards
Not a lot of laptops will have M.2, they might have mSata though
As for the sm951, thats old now, succeeded by the 950 pro series

I would disagree, plenty of new ones (last year or so) ship with M.2 slots and it has been a while since I have seen anything sowing with msata ones.

Sm951 might be old but it is still far cheaper and more value for money than the 950 pro, but it is an OEM drive so warranty is problematic compared to 950.

Still I would rather go for sm951 than 950 pro.
Hmm this could work, I've got a slow 128GB m.2 2260 ssd in my tablet I'm looking to replace with something faster, don't see a reason why I couldn't go shorter than 60mm though
What do you think it's better idea?
* getting this for the windows OS and getting a 1TB SSHD for storage?
* just getting a 2.5" 1TB SSD ? And in this case better to keep the original 16GB M2 card or remove it?

The peasants in this thread who don't understand need to gtfo. This is mechanical and DAS are one of the best.
Can't hack a windows key? Go buy a mac or enrol in elementary school typing lessons.
If you're hitting it accidentally in games, well then you're pretty bad at games aren't you.
You're one of those elitest snobs who thinks society needs to be purged of people who don't know what a n-key rollover is.

P.s me too

should just stop posting kustompc misprices. they will never ever ever honour a misprice.
It's not a misprice just one error in the description as the rest clearly states that it's 8GB in multiple places so it seems a wasted effort to give it a punt.
SmilingCrow
Capacity 8GB (4GBx2) and it says Sold Out.
Good luck with that!
It has just sold out, someone obviously tried their luck

They got the title wrong. Model number and descriptions point to 8gb kit.

Kustom PCs are good guys. They are our local PC component 'go to'. Clearly an unfortunate mistake with pricing, nothing more.
I feel extremely bad for them. When my order was cancelled, I wished him the best and hoped it wasn't too much of a bother:

"Hours of work, money wasted on card processing fees, and people unhappy that they’re not able to get a good bargain… amazing how much of a problem is made from one missed keystroke. You can bet I’ll be incredibly careful now… not been a fun day!"

It's a shame, being as how it's not a massive business like ebuyer or whatever so they're taking a real hit for this. And as much as we all think we deserve things to be honoured no matter what, sadly it's someone's livelihood on the line.

I feel sad now... :(

Still havent changed thecwebsite tho. Asa anyone?

Good god! Are you a professional complainer?
not logic to advertise this at this price, we all know how greedy we are even so we might order only one and they are not stupid when they see too many orders. OP should always try first and then advertise after received, chances are that might go unobserved in this case. Thank you for sharing anyway, it is always fun.
