too posh for me, would love nandos to do this lol voted hot tho :)

Great price, but when I've been to La Tasca for all you can eats, the service has been shocking. you can order 3 dishes per person at a time, and I think we ordered 3 times on 3 - 4 hours. This happened a couple of times.
#4
is this really all you can eat, because i could eat in la tasca all day long mmmmmmmmmmmm
#5
I think they'd only let me have the offer once.

Voted hot.

This is surely a voucher?
#7
Sounds like a good deal if you look past the quality of their food which has been diminishing over the years.
I used to enjoy eating there but got an offer a few months ago for half price tapas and the food was very poor so won't be going back.

Can you imagine trying to get in there though!
Our local nandos has a queue outside it everytime I walk past!!
#9
Yes you need a voucher (i've added it to the origional post)

hot hot hot.

my local la tasca ( edinburgh ) is pretty decent, and all you can eat for £10 is a sure bargain.

maybe i need to take a day of work, clear my diary, and starve myself until 3pm .....
#11
£10 per person + drinks not included..
Not really saving a great deal over the "5 for £10 promotion" that runs up until the late afternoon/evening.

Still if you eat like a horse this may be of benefit :)
#12
Drinks = Tap Water! Wahoooooo

I'm going to eat all the prawns!
#13

I was once asked to leave an all you can eat place after about 4.5hrs.... Refused to pay as said I could eat more.... Paid for the drinks though.

the key is them having watermelon on the salad cart, and you having no tact and plenty of time to kill ;)
#17
Not bad for a tenner, although Café Andaluz is superior (food is freshly prepared) if you have one in your locale.
#18
Dont they have this offer on every week?
#19
good price, but really horrible service. you can wait for food ages
#20
Good price but I won't be visiting my local (Deansgate Manchester). The service is shockingly bad - I went in there a week ago with my husband (I am heavily pregnant) and waited to be seated for 10 minutes. Was just about to leave when a staff member walked up to us. 'Finally', we thought - only for him to say 'oh hey' and elbow past me to give some people seated outside their bill, then elbow back past me and ignore us. We walked out and will never go back!

Once we attempted to go to a All-You-Can-Eat and they didn't let us in at all.
Maybe they were concerned that the smallest of 10 of us was 6 foot and 15 stone.
(The largest: 6 foot 9inch, 25 stone could eat a cow on his own!)
Nowhere to complain though, it was a privately owned place.

Yes you need a voucher (i've added it to the origional post)
Then it should be in the vouchers section... not the deals section.
#24

You can't win sometimes. Did you really waste part of your life stating that it was in the wrong section?

The food is all cooked out of packets, not fresh. You'd be better off going to waitrose and spending £20 on the same thing and save yourself the shocking service.
#31
who cares if its out of a bag, it still tastes good and all u can eat for 10er nothing to whinge about. Run along to claridges if u dont like it!

From my last visit all you can eat would be about 5 % of waht they serve. Rest is tastless bland muck
#35
Their ribs are great (hadn't thought they were packeted) quite the best I have had in the UK.

The Trafford centre has always been good when we have been, the only issue I have is with the price of their Sangria (about £12 for not even a litre jug, and not very strong) or wine.

As for not being let in for an all-you-can-eat deal, all the T&C's say is to show the voucher before ordering, not being seated. If I was seated then they tried to throw me out for trying to get a deal they advertised, they'd damn well hear a loud argument ensuing.

La Tasca...mmmmmmmmmm....mmmmmICROWAVE SPECIALS!

A chef I know used to work there and confirmed that the vast majority of this stuff is microwaved, and yup the service terrible.

Although still pretty cheap for all you can eat grub with a good selection if you like it. Not voting hot or cold.

If you haven't already, try Tapa down in Leith (or on Hanover Street) for lunch - even better at £10 for 2 people for 7 tapas...

Superb food in a lovely wee restaurant. :)

i was horribly disapointed with both the service and food quality at the la tasca in swansea. My "chicken skewers" were two pieces of chicken with sticks in them, my spicy sausage paella had one piece of sausage in it. When I complained the waiter said "I'm just bringing you your food don't blame me" (or something to that effect)

Couple this with an 'Odeon Orange Wednesday' and you have one cheap little evening out of the house....
