la tasca is probably the worst restaurant in the world. £10 all you can eat is an absolute crime. i went there, voucher in hand, fully expecting to bankrupt the chain with my greed, but could barely finish 1 1/2 rounds. deep fried oily food is NOT what tapas is meant to be - avoid, it is disgusting (i am in no way a snob - i think pizza hut buffet is wondrous)!!!!!!!!!!!

just signed up - you get a special menu for this offer so not proper resturant menu. But still, there are a few to select from!

enjoy people 8)

Good deal. Went to La Tasca the other night and it was really nice.
#7
Not sure what is worse, having to pay to eat the food there or the inevitable all-day toilet visit you will have on Monday!

Personally, I've always enjoyed la tasca when I've been with the family. Quite often have 50% off vouchers floating about, but thus seems like a good deal. Wish I could work out what items were included though. Heat added.

Is this eat as much as you can? T&c seem to say starter, 3 tapas, pudding, what if you want more?
#11
They are the T&c's for today's deal on there

thanks, just noticed that, earlier post was made using the mobile phone version of the site and the formatting put it all together so it read as if same deal (or could have just been me still half asleep(_;)) - looking on the web version now is much clearer. thanks

I think there hit and miss, like most food chains now adays. Our local one is ok but for £10 per person i can quite easily cook tapas for 4 people for about £15. Good deal if you fancy it though and dont want to cook
#14
Why don't people just eat till they're just no longer hungry? No wonder we're catching up with the fat American ****.
#15
absurd comparisons, what does Spanish Tapas has to do with Italian pizzas?

P.S. Non Alcoholic beer is first step to blow up women.

Hot deal, if it is "all you can eat"... but... despite being a fan of the food at La Tasca (been to a number of branches), i've never had a happy experience there and the staff are nothing short of rude and ignorant in all of them.

All my visits have been with some kind of deal / voucher though... maybe that has something to do with it.

Also, be prepared to find the menu severly restricted. I had a '50% off food' voucher which they said only applied certain items on the menu... after i'd already ordered and eaten!!!

They used to do an 'all you can eat' style offer previously, but it wasn't by voucher, they regularly did it after 5pm Sunday through to Tuesday or Wednesday I seem to remember, for around the same price I think.

We did it a couple of times. The menu must have had around 16 + items on there from memory. Always found the food enjoyable, and the staff seemed OK and reasonably quick at coming to take your order each time. They stopped this a while ago though as far as I know....so it's good to see this offer on.

Menu sounds aright to me, a decent selection

Also you need one voucher per person.

But....

Whne you download the voucher you can just edit the name and email address details to whatever you like so no need to register for everyone.
#22
Rather have fish and chips or a kebab haha half the price
#23
this is a great deal, i recommend the aubergine and meatballs
suspended#24
Nothing but good things to say about the one in leeds tbh - great food n great service!! Xx

If you guys want microwaved food then by all means go for it. The one in Manchester is ok butq the one off of oxford street was terrible, cud hardly eat anything and the manager is a pompous douche on top of it. But maybe that's just my experiences as some people have said its hit and miss. Why not just to pizza express and have two pizzas for twelve quid or buy one get one free at Bella Italia or even the slug and lettuce offer? Anything better than this ****
#26
It's definitely eat all you like. Four of us went and had every dish on the menu, most of them twice, and some of them 4 times. I was ready to stop after two rounds buy my friend stupidly said if we just got a few more we'd have tried the lot. I felt like crying all the way home because I was so stuffed. The prawns are really greasy because of the crust, pretty much all of it is really greasy but that's good with the chorizo, and the patatas bravas are good. It's not brilliant food but worth trying if you're up for being a greedy bast'. Wine is needed to cut the fat, ten quid a bottle. Agree that the meatballs are also good.

An ex of mine is Spanish, studying over here and she had nothing but good things to say about La Tasca. Seemed like it was the closest to Spanish food she could get here...

Really????? well don't know what sort of food was she used to but La tasca sucks and I'm spanish so I can say...But still, all you can eat for £10 is a good deal so as a deal...hot!
As food quality...prefer not to say.

Been to a few different branches over the past year, and quite frankly i'd only go again if we were standing very near one, feeling very hungry, with nowhere else nearby.

Its ok, but there's no denying its all just fried / microwaved cheap food, served in little dishes.

£10 is about right. They make more from the house wine, which I recommend avoiding!!!
#29
Isnt this just their Tapa for a Tenner deal which they ran for about 4 years till recently? Think the menu you can chose from is limited and agree the food can be hit and miss.

spent over 3 hours there today. my god, what a feast. I ate worth £31+ (10dishes). It's not only about the quantity: EVERY SINGLE TAPA WAS DELICIOUS
