Hey are these any different to the one I bought a couple weeks ago for £1.99? I'm not being sarcastic I genuinely want to know does it make a difference to the picture quality etc.. I need mine for Xbox gaming.. i tried finding out before buying but Idon't understand all the tech words and numbers lol

why buy gold plated connectors unless your sockets are also plated ? most tv's do not have plated sockets. corrosion occurs on the socket rather than the plug

The way HDMI is set up means that any errors in the signal show up as obvious glitches so if the picture looks perfect then it is perfect, there's none of the subtle effects like snow that old connections suffered from.

So while HDMI cables are not all the same, if the one you have works for your setup then you won't see any benefit in replacing it.

You really need to educate your butler not to type things like that on your behalf; gold is GOLD - it is the colour that matters and not the material or construction!

Blast, I left my computer unnattended for 2 minutes while I powered my nose and he jumped on and wrote that drivel! - he's so easily impressed with shiney metals but he's a real pain in the behind when it comes to electrical conductivity in connectors....however in his defence it must be said that the actual quantity of gold in these connectors can be so tiny and insignificant that it's utterly pointless and counter productive. I have witnessed supposedly gold audio connectors going somewhat green and high resistance. Pesky blighters.

I sincerely hope that you took pity and only issued a gentle admonishing on this occasion rather than administer the severe beating you are so fond of and enjoy immensely. I feel compelled to make a case against your practice of suppressing the behaviour of going 'somewhat green' or indulging in 'high resistance' just to keep your housekeep in order.

Please consider this as a formal complaint and a strong response - never shall they search for YOUR deals ever again!
