Voted hot and ordered. Just hope it's better than my trust laser mouse which works on virtually any surface! Well, it does just as long the surface is a mouse mat, and a dark one at that!

Based entirely on the above picture of a corded mouse, I will say, probably.

What the hell is a high resolution laser mouse? I just assumed it would be wireless but it's not even that! Can someone enlighten me please? How is this different to your normal mice (ignoring the comfort pads and side buttons)?

I believe it's just that the light is a laser instead of optical. Supposed to be more precise I think.
And I personally prefer wired as opposed to wireless. Never had a reliable wireless one yet. And how far do YOU sit from your keyboard/laptop? Can't see the point myself.

Hi. i've just received mine and can confirm that it will work on every surface I've tried it on-cushions, tabletop, melamine tray (????) the lot. Like I said in my first post, my trust laser mouse works on any surface as long as it's a black mouse mat!
Can recommend.
