These are great tables and will actually take a fair bit of weight.

Yup, Agree to that.
#3
Great price. You couldn't buy the materials for £3.99.

It's amazing what you can do with veneered balsa wood these days ;-)

I was shocked they had any strength at all, having a clear out I broke one up to put in the dustbin and the top is basically honeycomb cardboard veneered either side. I had a 60l ibiorb on it and it didn't even strain under the weight

Don't get me wrong these aint quality but for the price who cares, I have a larger one I use in the conservatory for my son to draw on / spill food on etc. if it gets ruined who cares
#6
we have these-kids have managed to scratch them (with the coasters!) but they are solid as a rock
#7
Am sure we jsut paid about £30 for a plastic kids table from ikea :-/
#8
Are these only available in-store? I wish there was one closer, always have to trek into London and just lately there's been so little available to buy online. Really good find though well done!
#9
Will be going to the one in Gateshead on Sunday to get a couple :)
#10
We have this table bought for a few quid more and it's fab - put together in seconds as you just twist the legs on. It is really study and doesn't look like chipboard at all - looks better than the £20 Argos one. Voted hot.
#11
These are great little table, normally selling for double the price (which is still a great price). As said already they can support quite a bit of weight - they are quite happy for me to stand on them and don't mind my 13+ stone.

The light beech ones look great and I'd disagree with the comment about these not being "quality". They are a sturdy, good looking table for very little money.
#12
I think its great too all the colours its now in...perfect for kids playrooms etc..
#13
i too agree, these are fab, we have the oak effect one, looks great in living room. Very sturdy, we paid £7.99 for ours & it was worth that so these are a bargain. Might have to get another one.
#14
These are great tables we have this size and the larger one with the shelf in black. We have an old style 28" telly on the larger one and it's fine. The only thing I will say is that they scuff quite easily and seem to attract dust so maybe the black isn't the best colour. You really can't go wrong for that price though.
#15
we have the white ones...am off down there later as they also have the coffee table £12 odd...
#16
I have a large and small on of these. The small one is the perfect size for a Husky Beer fridge which sits next to my sofa in my gaming room.
#17
These are great little tables, well worth 3.99.

It's worth noting that this offer isn't available in Wales and I think Scotland.

#21
We've got a few of these dotted around the house and they are great. A bargain at £7.99 so even better now.

Useful little table... but please bear in mind, if you like to stand out from the crowd... the Ikea LACK side table is the best selling piece of furniture in Europe, ever.

...and I'm not surprised. Great little tables. I'm getting a couple more to replace the ones I have, purely because we have redecorated and the oak ones go better with the new couch. 8 quid? Bargain!

New store opens Southampton 12th Feb. wOOt! No more trips to bloody Thurrock!
#26
Just ordered 4 - even including £7.50 delivery, it only came to £20, so I'm happy. Only shame is the oak isn't available online. Nicest colour imo.

Thanks op.

Just like everyone else has been saying these are great little tables. I've got my tv on one and have another as a coffee table. They are well worth the 7 odd quid each I paid a year ago so this is a really good deal.
#30
[FONT="Century Gothic"][SIZE="3"]I have 2 of these. They are very good quality, very light and we use them daily. I bought them from Ebay for 50p for the two which was a bit of luck. They were actually £7.99 each last year so very good price now at only £3.99.

Good deal!

I've the birch effect one (hubby's choice) which clearly doesn't look like one. WIsh I had chosen red but they didn't have it at that time. Am using it as a coffee table, I wish Ikea would design an optional shelf underneath. Would have been perfect!
#33
i am highy distressed they got rid of their deep pink range a couple years back and replaced it with that rancid pale pink!

i have said table in the deep pink along with various other deep pink ikea stuff.

love the lack range tho! no scuffs and wipe easy!

great, no more trips to scummy unfriendly Wembley or Croydon or 180 mile trip to the friendlier bristol store, tho these days i just use their online service
#37
I got one of these some 8 years ago, and it's still going strong. Might pick up a couple more, especially if they have the other shapes (the taller Lack 'sidetable') cheap as well.
#38
Wouldn't these go well with a £3.51 Floor lamp?

However, if you take a printout of the deal off the website they will honour the discount.

I went to the Cardiff store on saturday and the item was priced at £7.80. Spoke to member of staff who said to buy it at full price then go to the customer service desk where they would honour the printed price and refund me the difference.

Got 2 of these today and are very good for the price, also got 2 of the floor lamps, the last 2 in the shop as well
:D
