I normally pay the £1.35 for this and seems the supermarkets all charge the same price for it. Was really happy to pick up two from Sainsburys today for £1 each. Online and in store. Of course its more expensive than normal milk but you cant help having to be lactose free.

Apparently, like other milk alternatives like rice and Almond, you can make your own. You add lactase drops to normal milk and can make your own lactose free milk for seemingly half the price.

I use this stuff on a regular basis mixed with soya milk. Even though it's lactose free, I still get some digestive problems but it's better than normal milk. I have tried goats milk but could not get along with the taste and find rice/almond milk alternatives too watery and tasteless.

Milk, Smilk best give all this pansy watery farty nonsense that's suppose to be best for your little delicate wee stomach lining a miss and just drink real Man's milk oot the glass bottle if you can get yer delicate little hands on one near you, this Lactose is just COO!!! ****, it's all in yer heads, bacteria this bacteria that, this taken out of it, this put in it, and that comes fae Big Bernie the Ayrshire farmer doon the road wae mitts like shovels, so there :p

I would be happy to send you samples of my stools before and after drinking milk so you can decide for yourself if it's all in our heads. No doubt you believe anyone with a nut or shellfish allergy is just making it up
