Winter might of been and gone by the time it arrives. I ordered items 3-4 weeks ago, paid delivery and still waiting.

I got the red one today, it seems quite nice for the price

Got the dark blue one. Thanks!

the are very few companies that claim to use ethically sourced down but some believe it's impossible to be certain. either way I always choose alternative fillings, down is useless when it gets wet anyway.

Where did people think down came from? The geese would just float away on a cloud to heaven after a sloppy slaughter and they'd already be dead before being plucked? Where's the economical sense in that?

did not order one but still feel bad for the poor geese

Do you people finding it morally wrong to wear this jacket, also not eat meat or any other produce from an animal?

What size was it because I could not give a sh1t about them.

They destroy grazing land and keeping knocking out our electricity by their complete ineptitude at looking out for things whilst flying/landing.

Geese are pests of the highest order

Obviously it can be deemed cruel to kill an animal, but to attempt to keep it alive under these circumstances is far worse. This is vastly more morally wrong.

There is a responible element of humane treatment of animals here in the agricultural industry that is vastly being abused.

Feathers down are often a byproduct of the Poultry that we eat it would not make economic sense to breed birds and just for their feathers, this is no worse than wearing leather shoes .

I would disagree, leather is a byproduct of animals culled for meat.

The videos suggest otherwise and hence why there is a PETA campaign against the practice.

Probably made in a sweat shop too. I don't see anyone moaning about that

But is the item a deal? Forget the bloody animals ffs. Is it hot or not lol

poultry industry more often uses wax to strip the birds, although mainly chickens. But I mean, how often is goose on any body's plate...

why have half the comments (& link to Peta video) disappeared from this thread? have they been removed by HUKD? can a mod please answer. if HUKD has removed anything alerting people to animal cruelty in case it deturs someone from ordering via this site then I will not be posting any more deals or even using it, I'll also be letting quite a few websites/forums I'm involved with know your policy.

I'll put the link up again since nobody has told me why it was removed
this is why you might think twice about buying down
