I beg to differ and I'm guessing (by the amount of heat these have generated already) that others dont share your impeccable taste in footwear.

Jog on

Thanks OP, just ordered some, although I am slightly wary of admitting it for fear of being looked down upon by the likes of boogieben and Cheap_n_nicety!! AS IF!

I didn't heat/cool the deal. Just didn't want to disappoint anyone waiting for a chav comment.

hot for a classic set of trainers. Had the men version of this over 10 yrs ago..

They're a different colour, but that is what Nike charge for them
#13
I didn't vote either, as it's only my opinion.

Generally a fan of Nike Air Max, esp the classic version, but these are just terrible. I'm glad you are getting the heat you want though....

Agreed. It's a good price, but they look really, really bad.

Perhaps you ought to jog on, these will be perfect for all those people who go shopping in their PJ's and ideal to wear so you can run back home in time for your ASBO curfew.

Not voting either way despite the fact they seem a good price, as they really are horrible looking!

C'mon Monkeybumcheeks, you think so too, that's obviously why the picture you used for the deal only shows a teeny wee bit of the shoe :whistling:

Maybe it's because your a Chav yourself - so you can't tell!?

Does any know if you can return these to a sports direct store if they aren't right? Have had a quick nosey at the returns policy, but it seems a bit vague. Never ordered from these before and just wondered what they were like as a company? Are they part of soccer world, who will only give you credit vouchers if you return anything.

Thanks in advance for any advice ( Chavvy, or otherwise )

nice shoes i must say but would be happy if given free delivery..................

Cheers, I did read it, but there is a store about 8 miles from here, so wondered if you could just return them straight there, without getting stung for P & P if I wanted to return. Would get more choice from ordering on line, than in the store. Thanks Bluemargova

the sports direct policy is a pain in the ass,

unless there is something wrong with it then they won't give u a refund, they will only supply u with a credit note or something. P+P will not be returned as well

as for the trainers, they are good price for a pair of air max 97. Not the best colourway but it's not that bad.. but each to their own.

oh these aren't great for running, they were designed many years ago and running trainers have advanced a lot more. Check out the proper nike running series if anyone is looking for a decent pair of runners.

Cheers Kirajai. I had actually seen some other ones (Nike+ shox) but having never ordered trainers online didn't want to end up stuck with a credit note, if they weren't right / right size. I know you have different rights when buying online, but this company seem to only give credit notes for any returns. Thanks for confirming my initial thoughts. Niki

But thanks for the deal, got a pair and it came with a free giant mug haha

£ 43.00 is still cheaper than anywhere else for these trainers - still a bargain.

I got some free England flags for my car with the Very deal !
