I took back the pair I brought from aldi last year as they were horrible, though these could be different or maybe I just got a dodgy pair.

You should have 'bought' them first.

You think they are that authentic then, like real UGGs? Pointless comment - there's little correlation between price and durability on things like this and Aldi stuff is pretty good. Won't appeal to the brand snobs though.

These look identical to the ones I bought from Deichmann for £13 and they have lasted the whole winter and still look good.

Can't wait to see all the brand snobs walking round with knackered ankles through walking in these stupid style boots ...........these are sheer crap for your ankles and shins!!

Even legit actual UGGs are a joke. The Australians laugh at you for buying their slippers and wearing them in the street. :)

I'm with the above, genuine Uggs are ugly enough, but to be wearing a pair of cheap fakes is just shameful. Cold, cheap rubbish doesn't equal a hot deal!

I don't wear them because they resemble Uggs. I wear my 'cheap fakes' as you call them simply because I like them....I'm sorry you find that shameful but many people don't have the money to buy Uggs, or the inclination to be honest!

I bought a pair of Kirkland specials from costco, they look like uggs but at £30ish theyre a bargain. I didnt get them cos they look like uggs but cos they keep ur feet really warm and dont fall apart like the really cheap ones, and i take 5 sometimes a 6 and I got a junior pair for under £18 :-)

They look "as good" as the originals....shame the originals look like an accident between a lawnmower a sheep and a sewing machine.

How can a pair of boots be bad for ankles and shins?

So you want to buy a fake version of a boot that went out of style four years ago ... riiiggghhtt ...

yedp they are rubbish.....pitty more women didnt watch the documentary on these.
It makes me cringe when I see women wearing these style boots when you see all the ankle all collapsed at the back and they are walking like they have chickens stuck up their bums.....if only they knew how bad they looked and the long term damage they are doing.

Ugg stands for Ugly.....thats what women look like when wearing these.
#22
ok feet i get but shins ? lol i been wearing them for few years and my feet and shins are fine :P
#23
Yeah but, no but, yeah but!..
#24
All the girls at college reckon fake uggs make you walk like cripples... apparently over time the support for the inside of the foot starts to give way. Its actually pretty funny to watch to be honest.

Brand snobs?

Then why are you wearing a cheap copy, just because it looks like said brand? That just smacks of desperation and poverty really.

Anyway, these aren't boots, they're slippers. The Aussies have it right.

Brand snobs pay more for the same rubbish! 201 degrees as I write this so there are a lot of them out there, poor things.

I wish people would understand the difference between real sheepskin and synthetic materials. Real UGGs, and other quality brands too, use real sheepskin and have reinforced heels, that means they don't get all bent up at the ankles. I have yet to see a real pair of UGGs that are all bent up at the sides.

Nobody expects the same quality from fake leather as from real leather and sheepskin is no different.

If you think they are ugly, fine then don't wear them but don't expect everybody to have the same opinion as you. And as for the people saying that they are bad for your feet, has that ever worried women when they wear their 6 inch stilletos?
#28
Not to mention every woman I've seen wearing these scuffs their feet along the ground as if they're incapable of lifting them.
#29
ok these are good, but they are £3 in Primarni....sorry Primark....make nice slippers x

Not that I'm a UGG fan, but how to spot a fake pair (or how the cheap versions end up looking):

Birds look so filthy when they wear these.
#32
Uggs are fugly.
#33
If you like the look of Uggs but can't afford them, then these do the trick.
However,
so many women buy these cheap versions year in and year out, some actually buying more than one pair because of how quickly they end up with holes in or because they are trashed, covered in water marks and they stink because they have let water in, so ultimately, they end up in the bin.

You are so much better off saving your money and buying a pair of genuine Uggs or a real sheepskin pair from another company which have the reinforced backs on them.

I know a lot of people hate Uggs but honestly, they are the most comfortable and warm shoes I have ever had.
And I am the biggest shoe **** in the land!

Real ugg classics last a lot longer than these cheap imitations, but they don't do your feet any favours. There's hundreds of different varieties of ugg Australia boots, including many that offer much better support for your feet. I've swapped my uggs for fitflop mukluks, and my feet have thanked me!
