Lamb Quarter Pounders (asda's own) 50p @ Asda

Popped into Asda yesterday and as i was passing through the freezers noticed the BBQ section had some reduced offers. The lamb quarter pounders were reduced from £1 down to 75p. Liked them so much went back today for more and when i went through the checkout they had been reduced again to just 50p for a pack of 4. Not sure if this is store specific but well worth a look if you're in there shopping anyway.
They also had BBQ pork grills reduced down to 75p for a pack of 6.

Also in the pudding section, again not sure if store specific and still showing at 52p online were the twin pack of rocky road desserts and twin packs of profiterole desserts were originally 79p then down to 52p now down to 40p in my local Asda (Darlaston)

I grew up on a little croft in the Highlands and we had sheep , sometimes the ewes would have twins but just leave one to die and not feed it (sad yea) . I remember one morning we found 4 of the abandoned lambs and they where so cold that we just stuck them one at a time onto a tray in our Rayburn with the door open ! They soon came back to life and as a 8 year old kid at the time I ended up bringing them up and feeding them some kind of milk substitute out of a lemonade bottle every day .
My Dad called them Chops , Cutlets , Mint & Sauce which I thought was funny (at the time) anyway they grew up and had to go off to the market which didnt bother me . 6 months later we where having a big Sunday dinner with the family with Lamb chops which i was enjoying when my dad says "That's Chops!" and i was like "yea i know" and then he says "No that is Chops your buddy!" I never could eat lamb since , good deal though !!

Heat for the pic! Something about seeing that photo with £0.50 next to it that doesn't seem quite right! Think i'll avoid the cheap meat...!
