Bought 2 of these about a year ago and they are great.

If you are using Vista then you will need to upgrade the firmware (see link below) to see it as a network drive.
You will need the V48 + Bootloader 0.69 version for the Sdatek drive
Check out user reviews before buying. There seems to be a high failure rate of this box, which is sold under various brand names.
I bet this uses a fair bit of leccy!
you can set it to go to sleep after X minutes, so you are only paying for the bright blue light on the front.
