Cheapest ever - too bad you're only allowed one bottle at this price

Not quite - each amazon 'user' is only allowed one bottle at the lightning price. After you've claimed the offer you can only see the 'normal' price

Decent price but Jim Beam Devil's Cut is only £15 at Tesco, so cold I'm afraid.

Scorching! My Lagavulin tried to get delivered today too, but will pick it up tomorrow. That & this are my faves!

What strange logic!

A bourbon and a heavily peated malt, completely and utterly different.

Both excellent prices so heat for both, strange I know.

Was there a deal on Lagavulin? Been looking to pick up a bottle but seems to be full price everywhere at the moment.

There've been loads (edit: e.g. see here, here or here)- I've managed to pick up the Distiller's edition, 8yo and 2 bottles of the 16yo

Yeah was £36 last week, but went OOS quickly but came back in stock yesterday but back to full price sadly.

X) I can fully appreciate where you're coming from - it's a 'marmite' whisky
Iodine, burnt toast, tarmac, rubber gloves/tyres, leather, shoe polish,... - peaty whisky's can smell and taste of all sorts of strange and wonderful things. The Laphroaig 10 and its Islay cousins are definitely an acquired taste and not typically a place to start one's whisky experience. However, once (/ if!) you've built up to them and your palate has adapted, you will struggle to put them down. The balance across peat, smoke, sherry/spiciness, honey, heather, brine/sea-salt can't be matched.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out. I wouldn't want the 8yo however - tried some the other day at the Glen Ord distillery and not a fan. Another person couldn't even finish theirs!

My favourite sub £30 whisky. I already have a bottle of QC but hey ho this will get drunk after that (and the Lagavulin)
