Still £35 on website so presume it is a store specific deal - brilliant price for those who get it - heat added!

It'll put hairs on your chest, very peaty. I like it, I'll check my local Tescos later as i am there anyway, but i won't be holding my breath.

I think any single malt under £20 is a good deal these days and you're buying an established top quality Islay here, so I don't think you can go wrong. Some people don't like the peat flavour which comes with Islay, having said that.

it is an acquired taste ie not very malty..read this from their website.... Laphroaig – pronounced La-froyg – is one of the most divisive Scotch whiskies, loved by those who enjoy its medicinal, smoky flavour and looked on in amazement by those who don't, it remains one of the most popular. Laphroaig distillery sits on the south coast of Islay, the first of the three Kildalton distilleries.

It smells like hospitals. But I did enjoy some of this one Christmas

Dammit, if I hadn't have had a rather large dram of Laphroaig, I'd be on my way to my local Tesco to look!

Anyone else found it at this price?

Amazing price! Get on it!

There had been a ton of good whisky clearance deals from Tesco Express stores recently. I got a bottle of Talisker Storm for £21 from my local recently.

There was a post a couple of weeks ago, suggesting Lagavulin was half price along with Ardbeg.
Proved to be usual goose chase though, as I suspect this will be.

Best price I can currently find for Lagavulin 16, is at Costco for pennies short of £40.
