Something to consider:

"T-Mobile defines fair use as total UK data use (both sent and received) of up to 2GB per month"

Not very much of an "unlimited" download limit

don't think you can use Skype (VOIP) or MSN Messenger on this either ( ? )

Thanks for posting paul.jacobs. I've added a logo to your post :)

They don't do this contract for new customers anymore (though I've been on it for a few months )

The page is no longer linked to from the site, its just an orphan "ghost" page, but good luck anyway :)

my order has been confirmed for delivery before 1pm tomorrow.

working I see
a friend living 2 houses down the road has this and he is very happy with it...

if you do consider ordering this choose the 12month option as you still get the data card for free and do not get charged the £58 as specified.

It arrived today and £73 quidco tracked, I opted for the 18 month contract as they may put the price up after the 12 month contract

Works out at just under £16 per month for 18 months

(or £13.91 for the 12 month contract + free data card as pointed out in the above post)

compared to vodaphones similar contract, 12 months contract unlimited at £53 per month + £60 for the data card, although I believe vodaphone is a bit faster than T-mobile

I just hope T-mobiles coverage is as good as they claim
#11
I don't think vodafone's faster
I saw tmobile in action and was pretty fast
and tmobile's much less than vodafone's :)

I've got a vodafone 3g card and it's not very reliable at all, I hope you get on better with the T-Mobile one.

It will depend on coverage.

I'm very tempted

Thanks for posting this, could be just what I am after.

I have applied through the link which I modified to include the quidco referal. T-Mobile emailed me to inform me that a £100 deposit would be required and to phone them if I would pay this. Will this affect the quidco transaction?

Thanks for any help.

how do these cards work? i don't have a phoneline in my flat so this sounds like the perfect solution to get t'intinet:-D
#20
pop the card in a laptop , and it will work where there is a mobile phone signal. On the train , on holiday in UK , visiting people, kids in back of car, its endless
remember it has a 2GB limit per month so its not good for large downloads like movies.

hi everyone

cheers

Just thought i'd give my experince of t-mobile's 3g card as my work kindly give me a few months back for "business use".

As previously stated, the signal strength that you get varies very dramatically, from a fast download speed of around 100kps when in a strong 3g area, down to low/virtually no connection if in an area where there is no 3g siganl and it has use gprs.

As a result of this it is only mainly used for e-mailing and surfing the web and any larger file transfers that I have to do is left until I'm either at home or back in the office.

I would recommend that if you are going to get this try and find someone who has a t-mobile phone (most new ones are now 3g) and see what the signal strength is like when you're soing to use it the most.

Hope this helps.
