Spent ages the other day trying to decide if I should get it at the full price or not.

I decided to sleep on it and then buy it with quidco to reserve online. Only to find it was half the price.

Bargain...

It's probably ok, but I wish someone could find me a Wenger Swissgear Maxxum again. Bought mine 5 years ago, flown around the world with it heaving at the seams, used it daily and its now starting to show the strain. Got mine at half price at Smiths, have been £22.50, but typically you cannopt find one at less than about £40, and more like £50, at the moment anyway.

I just bought this yesterday to replace my swissgear bag which was stolen. I got the swissgear for about £10 in Smiths years ago and it was brilliant.

This bag is ok but doesn't feel as robust as the swissgear. However it is nice and light and not as bulky as some of the brand laptop bags. Reviews are mixed but it is still excellent value at the online price.

I also bought some ink cartridges on reserve and collect which were cheaper than just going into the store and buying, so if you are planning to buy from Currys or PC World it is worth checking online first to see if the price is better. Plus don't forget quidco.

Definitely would buy another swissgear bag, with laptop padded sleeve inside, which I got last year for about £14. Worth searching out - I don't know the brand of this posted one, so can't recommend it.

Edit- it's a SWORDFISH Sumatra bag

Only a few days testing....

Bought it because I'm on a trip to India for a week for work. Did not want to walk around with a laptop bag. Might was well say TARGET on it...

Anyway, very happy so far.

Bag has enough space for Main laptop, netbook and cables etc. Also has a seperate main compartment for keeping non laptop stuff inside. Been carrying a change of clothes in it having got a tummy bug...

Only complaint, there is no cusioning on top edge of the bag (open pouch, just some stiffening material at top). Probably ok for most laptops, but mine is quite large and so comes quite close to edge of bag. I just put some bubble wrap in for the main trip. Might adapt it and stick something more permenant in...

Thanks OP. Girlfriend ordered and it has already been delivered. The laptop fits nice a snugly in the bag. Very happy.
