Laptop description error - £40.00 @ John Lewis

Search office 365 on John Lewis, gives laptop deals for £40. Looks like a description error but could be worth a shot.

Can't decide if it's worth the gamble of going down to John Lewis only for them to give me office 365!

It may well be worth a shot...though I expect they will cancel order when you've not put a laptop in basket too.

It's a bundle/deal price, you get MS 365 at a discount if you buy it with the laptop, MS 365 is usually £59.95.

You won't get a laptop, it's not worth the risk

I'm sorry but I don't want to sound rude but this is so obviously not a glitch/error etc.. what so ever...

You get the software at a discounted price when you buy specific laptops.

The discounted software is just listed separately under it's own category which clearly states the offer, you won't get a laptop for this price as the laptop isn't listed on the P/C, you won't get the software at this price (JL will just cancel our order) because you aren't buying the laptop (which will be listed as a separate product)

For the sake of £40 and getting money back if it isn't right it's totally risk free. Unless I crash my car on the way to collect it - damn that would suck.

Order states 1 x Laptop + Office 365...will report back tomorrow.

Collected today and I received just the MS Office box so returned for a refund.

I think he is trying to say that he has dyslexia and there was a program about it on BBC 1, but that is a guess.

Ordered last night, collected it via waitrose; however was only the software.

After calling the CS team, they surprisingly said that the courier was 'delayed' and that the laptop would be with me Friday!

Asked him to e-mail me with a tracking number, and didn't receive it.

Called up to double confirm, and again, a different person confirmed I will definitely receive it on Friday, gave me the tracking number, however states it is incorrect... Will call tomorrow to confirm the tracking number, however with calls being recorded & the fact it was due to a 'pricing error' I imagine they will have to honor the deal with me, especially with two different agents confirming!

Very interesting red tracking number! I ordered online so awaiting despatch confirmation however money has been taken. Wait and see I guess, worse case I take 365 back for refund!

I have received tracking number for my order.I suspect will receive just software,and no laptop...Their terms and conditions clearly state that: "Please note that acceptance of your order takes place when it leaves our warehouse" so when my online order is still stating 2 items laptop and software they are obliged to honour the deal.

This is what we need to do,as with despatch notice JL is accepting our order and we are bond by the contract
