If you have a spare slot use this memory and you should get a good performance boost!

I ordered an Acer laptop the other day, should be here soon and this would go well with it. Or if you bought a Dell, this would go well as well.

* 512 MByte organized as 64 M × 64 bit
* Double Data Rate 2 SDRAM components
* Speed grade DDR2–533 CL4 on component level
* Provides up to 4264 MByte per second on module level
* Module Code PC2–4200S–444–11
* 200-Pin Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) with gold contacts
* Fitting in industry standard motherboards

Awesome, does anyone know of any 1GB DDR2 SODIMM modules with same specs? At a decent price as such?

I really want to upgrade my macbook to 2gb.

Cheers :)

Have you tried Crucial with 7% QuidCo cashback and http://www.crucial.com/uk/promo/index.asp?prog=ukmacuser&CPE=PAC-ukmacuser copied/pasted into the address bar for 5% [can't guarantee cashback will track, although the cookie should be set if you click through anyway].

Do you know if this will fit my toshiba Satalite P10-304.

Kingston memory config says I need DDR SODIMM

Standard Memory: 256MB (Removable) or 512MB (Removable)
Maximum Memory: 2GB
Expansion: 2 Sockets
CPU & Chip Set: Intel Pentium 4 2.66 GHz
Bus Architecture: PC Card; USB
Manufacturer System PN: PSP10E-0RCJM-EN

Technical Notes
KTT3614/xxx (266) and KTT3311/xxx (333) are both supported for this system, and can be mixed, but will only run at 266MHz.

Virtually any configuration up to 2GB can be reached using any combination of Kingston's 256, 512MB, and 1GB modules.

The memory in this topic is DDR2, i think (not 100%) your would need DDR1.

Tell me the speed of the memory yuo are using now.

It came with 1x256mb which I don't know if its 266 or 333 I then added another 256mb 333 about a year ago.

Memory has come down so much now I like the idea of adding 2x 512mb.

It would be good to take it to the ful 2gb but thats still going to be too pricy.

Hope this helps, thanks for your help

EDIT: the old one has 2100 written on it, I don't understand all this 2100/2700 stuff?

Cool, just got it for £28.67 with free delivery. Thx OP

There's a programme called Belarc Advisor you can download it free http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html It'll show you lots of information about your system including RAM

Also Crucial website has a memory finder that will let you know the correct modules you require.

As gd-miester says, it looks like you need DDR1 not 2 http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.asp?Mfr%2BProductline=Toshiba%2BSatellite&mfr=Toshiba&cat=&model=Satellite+P10+Series&submit=Go
