I think maybe you were unfortunate, Car Plan is actually a decent brand and not the usual no brand that the cheaper shops sell

I decided it's more environmentally friendly to use a scraper and ditched de-icer a while back.

if global warming was that bad, you wouldn't need to scrape ice off your car in the freezing cold

X)

If you were so enviromentally friendly you would walk, or better still stop breathing to cut down on the global CO2.

It's not global warming, it's climate change, which includes radical weather swings in either direction.

I do walk, where I can. I don't take the car up the road to the supermarket, doctors or post office, I walk the 10 minutes. I only drive when necessary.

Heard of photosynthesis? Plantlife requires our CO2 to survive. Expelled natural CO2 and man-made, industrial pollution are not the same thing.

Any other armchair judgementalists with a snappy but ineffectual comment?

Top Trumps, you win! I've only got a paltry 3.0 Quattro, the best I can manage is 6mpg to annoy the yoghurt weavers. I'll stick the heating on full with the windows open, that should make up for it.
