Voting cold just because it's January. ??????

This site is supposed to be for highlighting good offers and deals.
You vote Hot or Cold on how good the deal is........ Not because you think it's too early to have Easter eggs on sale.

Hot from me !!!

but thats the same price as tesco so not really a deal as such?

anyway thanks for the heads up...

I wonder if Cadbury's start to sell less in this country?

It may only be January but in 3 days it will be February, antipko does that feel better ? A good deal, some eggs better value than others though. Assume Sainsburys & Morrisons will soon follow.

I wouldn’t imagine so. The vast majority of the UK public don’t seem to give a toss about UK companies being sold to foreign companies, or buying British in general. Well people may care but not to the extent that they’ll actually do anything about it, I guess that’s why companies get sold so easily.

Hot deal!

As for the January comments. Chocolate tends to have a long shelf life, they’ll be fine for Easter and that’s the main thing. Grabbing a bargain is often about buying something at the right time, you might not need eggs yet but if you know you will by easter then it’s a good deal.

Just got back from Asda with 18 eggs! Great price and probably a lot cheaper than waiting till the last 2 weeks before Easter.

FYI - my local store was just putting these out and had -

Rollo
Mars
Cadbury Cream Eggs
Peppa Pig
Toy Story

Limit of 6 per customer (of each type), and products dated July '10 onwards. (Easter Sunday is April 4th this year).

Thx to OP. +7

Picked six up yesterday from Tescos - cheap, simple eggs for gifts from our children to others

... Clubcard points make Tesco more attractive when the price is the same surely, especially if you can make use of the x4 Clubcard deals.

fabulous deal, i was just about to post a week later lol nd i bough 2 last week! Just so everybody knows too this deal is now only available at asda, tesco have put the price up now and there offer is 3 for £5 so asda is definately the better deal. I have ordered 6 to come with my shopping on tuesday so hoping they'll still be in stock and i imagine they should be as they have now up until easter to keep restocking!
