I've not cooked with mine yet but I built it today and it's ten times better than the coleman one it's replacing. Chunky legs, thick steel, decent hinges. It's certainly heavier but that's a sign of quality.

Available in store and online.

Not as portable as they make out, whilst using in the car we got massive headaches and had to open all the windows. Also needed the car running with aircon on full blast while using as it kicks out a lot of heat considering it's a portable version.

Yes I tried to use mine while cycling to work and found it very awkward to balance.

Might skateboard next time.

Hmmmm That's weird... it should be fully portable. I was on my tricycle on the way to work and was able to set up the barbecue fine.

This one looks good from Tesco - https://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-portable-twin-grill-barrel-bbq/721-1425.prd?skuId=721-1425

Similar style, larger cooking area & £5 cheaper.

No lid though, and a lid is essential for decent BBQing (if you're as cack handed as I am, and the fat catches fire and burns everything to smithereens).

'Large' and 'Portable' don't really go well together, in my experience.

NICE!.

Your link doesn't unfortunately work if you click directly from it above. :-(

You need to cut & paste it for it to work properly everyone.

Cool alternative by the way. :-)

Gas is not a BBQ in my book, dont get me wrong, I have a large Gas BBQ at home but I wouldn't fancy driving to a campsite or recreational ground with a large gas bottle in my boot. Plus the smell and taste of food cooked with coals is unbeatable.
