That's hot, but I nearly voted cold because of the 'Chrimbo' word.

Good deal, thanks for posting, just reserved one.

Anybody know of any other deals for storage boxes like these?
Have just had my spare room decorated and need something to keep all the kiddies toys in but was hoping for something just a little cheaper than this.

Yes, I bought a bigger one than this from Homebase, £39.99 (reduced from £59.99) but with 2 smaller seagrass boxes inside but when I got it home it was just too big and I thought too flimsy for my little boy to keep opening and closing. I then found a 60L playbox in Focus, it's blue with a green lid that looks like lego, cost £12.99 and has wheels at one end. My little boy loves it already as he can fit inside :) so I'm going to take the seagrass one back to Homebase as it was a bit too big.

No, I can't find it on there either. On my receipt it's called a 60L Storage Chest, they had tons in there. I will take a photo of it later if you are still interested but I've been looking for ages for reasonably priced storage.

If you've got a CDS store near you then they may be worth checking out?

It's *******ised English, usually used by the same people who pay a " 'leccy bill" rather than an electricity bill.

This one is really sturdy I used to own it and sold it at a bootsale due to lack of space after a while but which I still had it now as it would be handy for shoes!

'leccy bill' yes, irritating for sure!

I myself use a rather more colourful variance of the English language to describe payment of our electricity bill (which is not suitable for sharing on these boards).

12 stores doesn't equate to the whole country though, does it? I reserved one on Saturday and am dropping in to pick it up this eve. Argos stock levels are always going to vary across the country, so to say 'no one can actually buy' it is both inacurate and unhelpful.

Seriously though Argos bargains are notoriously bad in that one or two stores across the country may have stock but nowhere else does, the poster above me had also checked 12 stores with none having stock so I am not being inaccurate or unhelpful, more stating a well know fact for anyone that has tried to bag one of these 'bargains' in the past
