Hmmm, yeah I think I'm with mikbak on this one. If the wind gets a hold of that thing there's no 'guy ropes' in the world gonna keep it down.

Yeah, mine knocked all my plants over and blew over, very annoying.

it is very annoying thats why i got a glass one but they cost lot more, maybe try and put a slap down in it

A 'slap down' in the green house... not sure the wife would be up for that but I'll ask her.

EDIT: She said no! I suppose I could slap one..... errrm, no, better not go there!

Had one of these, it was a joke, might be alright inside the house, but don't put anywhere with any wind! My advice would be to save up a bit longer and get a real greenhouse. They last forever and pay for themselves in produce and free plants grown from seed.

Good price but a questionable product, as detailed above. Hot price if you want one but you've been warned!

Nice find, Got my daughter one from wilkinsons a few week back when they were £39.99.
#11
my girls got me one from wilkos, 2 weeks ago the wind got it and ripped it to pieces, never again

Stuck a couple of paving stones in mine and its stayed in the one place no probs.

Pity the birds have eaten away the entire roof section though.Wildlifes a bit full on at mine. oO

Someone put a basket & Four Candles underneath & entered it in that Bristol hot air balloon race.

I had a similar one that cost 60 quid, which blew apart in the high winds. We were using it to house our outdoor rabbit hutch in over the winter.

Tesco are doing one for 30 quid :

The picture on the aldi one shows shelves, which it doesn't mention in the description. I think both come without shelves, and are probably the same as the one I had. (Or still have, but it's in pieces, and a few of the joints have snapped!)

Totally agree. I spent some of last summer chasing it around the garden. Buy a proper Greenhouse.

I have 2 of the smaller ones of these, and they are great. yes it's cheap and might blow away if you don't secure it, but if you just put a bag of compost on the poles that are on the ground you'll be fine. Mine sit against a fence, so I cable tied it to the fence, but to be honest, once it's full of stuff it will be fine

Yes, have done exactly the same and works a treat - have "planted" the poles in gro bags as its standing on paving. Can't compare to a real greenhouse but if like me you have no space and just need it up for a short while in the spring, it does the job.

ppftttttt... "blow aways" - blasted things.

Cheap PVC plastic too where the bits fall away over time to leave little white squares all over the place.

Best thing I did was to invest in a 8x6 greenhouse - picked mine one up second hand for £30.

this is the Argos one that I picked up on offer a couple of years ago - on offer again:
Walk In Greenhouse.
sku: 720/1981 £26.65 (was £39.99

I lean it against the garage for support and in a corner where it's not going to catch too much breeze. I also put a couple of 2x4 on the floor to help keep it steady.
The reinforced plastic windows are flexible and have shown no signs of fatigue. With a bit of care and common sense it should last you a few years - great for growing chilis, as they really capture heat and humidity

With a bit of diy split it in two and put them on their side to make two rather large cloches to grow courgettes under.
#23
this one is better at argos, £5 more but double in size
#24
double the area for the wind to catch then?
#25
As others have said, these only blow away if you put them together and don't do anything to keep them secured. We bought one for £30 and used it for 2 years. It never blew away as we used grow bags inside which weighed it down but eventually the PVC gave up. TBH I think £15 a year for something like this was not too bad and now we haven't got as much time we aren't lumbered with a full size glass one.

Dont think your right mate this one is
Dimensions: 1.9 x 1.25 x 1.95m (H x W x D) and the one you are saying £5 more but double in size
Dimensions: (H)187, (W)121 (D)185cm. so that makes it smaller
