Great, thank you, ordered one! Now I just need to start taking nicotine patches to ween myself onto smoking.

I'd engrave mine with, "Every time I use this I die a little inside".

Each lighter is supplied empty. Any ideas what I'd need to fill it and how easy it would be?

Cheap Chinese copy of a Zippo that you can buy for about a quid...... Don't see the point of engraving tat like this.

Gone up by a penny, ,and still incredibly naff. Stocking filler? For kids who smoke?

'Please enter Engraving details for Personalisation, in the "Gift Message Box" during order process.
If you DO NOT REQUIRE Personalisation, please leave "Gift Message Box" BLANK when ordering'

No need, just have it engraved with 'Twisted Fire Starter' and become an arsonist......

Rubbish item. I got one last year to try, and the wheel broke in a week. It feels very light, and it feels cheap (which it is, granted!). I have a 25 year old Zippo still going strong, for comparison. The RRP is pure wishful thinking. It's £2.98 and it's worth it.

Personalised cheap tat, ideal for the person you dislike and want them to know it :D

of these are star lighters then the cost price on them is less than 50p each when buying from wholesale, good knows how much cheaper if buying direct from China.

they do their job, just, fuel evaporates very quickly and don't expect them to last very long.

I know it is slightly more but still under a tenner, it has a life time guarantee and the quality far exceeds these.

Genuine Zippo £9.95

Edit:
Just to add to the list of benefits of purchasing a genuine zippo. A personal experience I had was I wanted a pipe insert for mine I emailed Zippo asking where I could buy one and they responded by asking for my address so they could send me a free one. For such a small difference I will always recommend getting the real thing in this case.

You could personalise it & give yourself a little kick up the jacksy every time you want to light up by engraving: Smoking kills you and others, it's antisocial and disgusting.

Amazon have them for £1.49 and they are often cheaper, and that's without looking on ebay or any of the Chinese sites.
I've had a few of these lighters, Storm, Dora, Star, they are always poorly made rubbish. The chrome is so thin it chips and wears off in no time, the lighter inserts do not fit properly so the fuel evaporates really quickly, the hinge breaks rendering the lighter useless, the spark wheel breaks off easily and the flint spring often fails on the screw thread.
But what would you expect from a knock off Zippo copy, that is made for about 10 cents in China.

I am a none smoker and have a lighter, Lighters are not just for cigarettes :)

Zippos (and especially cheap fake Zippos) aren't ideal for non smokers as the fuel evaporates over time. For occasional use, a gas lighter is much better. Unless it's for a camping trip or something and you're happy to fill it before you leave, but then you should probably be using something more manly, like this.

Yep, agree with that. Gas lighters are cheaper to run, and are far less hassle as you're not constantly replacing fuel & flints in a short time.
In their favour, Zippo lighters are well built, old skool cool and an iconic design...... but this only comes with a genuine Zippo.
