Laser Sphere Colour Changing Lamp £14.99 (was £21.99) @ Argos
I recently purchased one of these for £25 and they are excellent as night lights for toddlers and as mood lights.
One red laser and coloured LEDs are shone through a rotating prism to produce a swirling nebula of colour. This can either be used to light up the ball itself or the cover can be removed to light up the walls and ceiling of a room.
If you want to see one in action please look them up on youtube.

Very true, a timer switch would be a great addition. I would also have loved it if the prism could be swappable for different ones for different effects and a choice of primary laser colour would be something I'd like in the future.
True. I do have a timer and usually set it for 2-3 hours.
Totally mesmerising, might even replace TV! X)
Thanks OP

LOL. You could put it behind the TV as an addition.
My grand-daughter is only 5-6 months old and watches it when it's time for bed, don't hear a peep from her till the morning. :D
Me too I suspect...can't wait to get off to bed (after Jonathan Ross)
Your location brings to mind a wild, wild, wedding I attended there back in the 60's, no idea who wed whom but we ended up at Burnt Island Palais.....Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear!
