Now reduced by another £20 to £319.00 delivered.

Fujis's new Superzoom Camera.

IF you're desperate to own one of these this is the cheapest I can find it at the moment.
I'd like to see it under £300 but this is a good deal IMO.

Remember this is a Bridge Camera and not a full blown DSLR. There are advantages and disadvantages to having a Bridge Camera so, with respect, make sure you do your homework to see if it fits your needs.

Can you be a bit more specific kyashars ? What did you find disappointing about the camera ? How long did you own and use it for ? Which canon or PAnasonic cameras are you comparing it with ?

Any info for the HUKD members would be appreciated :)
Personally I found the lens control and holding the camera awkward to say the least......... BUT then any camera will be different for all.......

I ended up with the SX1 is

It depends entirely what you want to use your camera for.

If you compare the HS10 with a SLR, you will find a SLR will give you better picture resolution and detail but you have to carry around a lot more heavy gear.

If you compare the HS10 with a compact camera, the HS10 will give better results for resolution and detail for any photographic situation.

If you compare the HS10 with a Pen-type camera with interchangeable lenses (Olympus/Sony/Samsung/Panny) the pictures of the Pen-type camera will be better resolution and detail.

However, resolution and detail is not all which makes a good picture. Most important is the photographer and a good picture needs much more than technical excellence. This is why it it so important that you feel comfortable with the camera you use. The only way to find the right camera is by trying out a few and see which one handles best.

So, there is really no "best" camera which fits everyone but the HS10 could be the best camera for some. (I like the HS10 because of the big lens range and the use of AA-type batteries)
Price now reduced to £319, another £20 off.
