Stephen Fry follows in his great friend Douglas Adams' footsteps, along with zoologist Mark Carwardine, to remote parts of the earth in search of some of the rarest and most threatened animals on Earth. In the 1980s writer Douglas Adams (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) traveled the globe with zoologist Mark Carwardine in search of endangered animals. Twenty years later, the late Adams' great friend, Britains comic genius Stephen Fry, returns with Mark to see if the species are still in existence. The pair look for man-eating Komodo dragons, a flightless parrot, the Yangtze river dolphin, man's closest living relative, the pygmy chimpanzee and a bizarre creature that appears to have been assembled from pieces of other animals. Their journey is a unique insight into the disappearing animals of the world.

Fantastic Series! Can't recommend it enough! (Comes in a 2disc set according to reviews on Amazon)
