Good price match but prefer the shopto launch version with the slipcase for £24.85.
#2
Any other difference apart from slip case?

Does anyone know why the £2 Prime discount isn't applied on the Prime Now app?
#5
It comes up as £24.99 for me and I have prime. How do you activate the discount?

Prime now is a different service for super fast local delivery - like a takeaway, just order through a web browser or the standard store app

Thanks for the reply. I've got the £5 off with a first Prime Now order so I was tryna save an extra £2 but nvm X)

The discount applies at the very last stage of the checkout process

I am tempted for £23, but Jim Sterling put me off for life. Maybe when it's £10-15.

He put me off for getting it at release but the vast majority of reviews are glowing. At this price I'm taking the chance and can always sell on if I agree with Jimbo.

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy the digital version? I prefer them to discs personally.
#13
no £2.00 discount?

no £2.00 discount?

It seems not, despite it saying promo applied in the checkout info.

At £22.99 with prime you might aswell just get the disc, have something to resell AND save cash...

Oops, just realised this came out on the 9th, which is 2 weeks yesterday so the discount expired an hour ago :(

I'll wait until the digital version is cheaper, I simply dislike discs, it's not the 90s anymore, I don't like clutter and am not bothered about resale value.

When it was £22.99 it was cheaper, so it was justified. The problem, as Dan notes, is that the £2 Prime credit run out at midnight, so it's now more expensive than ShopTo.....but some people prefer to use Amazon.

They do because if you are really desperate to play this you can have this delivered by 6pm tomorrow night with Amazon.

Btw, was the £2 discount really working before midnight?

Yeah. Basically the £2.00 Prime discount applies like so:

Offer is valid on physical video games during the pre-order period and for 14 days from release date as listed on the product detail page.

- Amazon T&Cs

It just so happens that period ended at midnight, as the 14 days are now up. The Amazon page was showing the discount offer for an hour afterwards tho, but the offer wasn't appearing in the basket. The offer is now gone from the product page.

Ordered on Prime Now for delivery this morning. Cancelled my order at Sainsbury's, cheers.
#26
It's still availablr
#27
Why has this been expired? Even at £24.99 it's cheaper than the £30 Tesco offer trending on the gaming front page.

How come so many get prime now. Am I missing something? I live a few miles outside London, in Middlesex though but I'm not eligible. Does everyone here live like super central in major cities?

It doesn't seem defined by where the Amazon warehouses are but where the major transport/courier hubs are. For example biggest transport hub in the uk as regards parcels/logistics etc is in Birmingham area and that's why that area and a lot of the midlands got prime now first.
